I am waiting to get my light for the 2nd time and test this theory out. What if we are supposed to combine the paint colors for the scroll racks. I didn't save a screen shot but if I remember right the first scroll racks went red, yellow, blue from left to right. I read somewhere that the 2nd set of scroll racks were in a different order. What if we combined paint colors.

Example:

1st scroll racks + 2nd scroll racks = new scroll color

R + B = P

Y + R = O

B + Y = G

Then read our symols for the tablet in catalogue order using our original color order. If you had red first then use purple this time, etc. throw out the other colors like we did blanks. Has anyone tried this yet ? Is it even possible?

Fortunately even though the contents of my catalogs HAVE changed, the order of them remains "Blue, Red, Yellow."

Your card catalog racks stayed in the same color order? Shucks, there goes another theory.

Why does this get posted while I'm typing? I wish anjuna's post would have been up b/4 I started writing that. Another theory dies a cold horrible death.

Edit: Stupid question, but have to ask. Do I have to look athe new scrolls and see the wet paint sign in order to get my 2nd light?

I still can't get the sharp eye message.. no matter what I try..

It's driving me insane.. :(

I just tried with making sure the order I check is in order that it appears (symbol wise) in my catalogues..
But still nothing.

However, when I was moving around, I noticed at one point there was an error message..
Do you think that messed with it?

Maybe.. i'm just not reading right..
Argggh.. this is so bloody frustrating. What a stupid task.

Sorry to crash your dream. Yes my scroll racks changed in content but remain in the same color order. I already punched a few holes in all of my theories so far too. But I have a feeling inspiration will come soon.

When I thought to use the *compliment* of my Wet scroll racks (BRY=OGP) I forgot that my 2nd spectrum contains all the colors of course, and crystal 1 has three and my scroll racks are 3 (unless you count and add the complimentary colors of such). I am back to square one. Either way, the catalogs are only in a set of 3, if you change the color .. argh, brain .. eek!

Hi, I'm new here but I have been reading this forum and checking the lost desert plot. Is there anyone who have the same problem as I: I have had the message (about the sharp eye) but I can't have second chrystal.

I've been falling to 2 different spike traps, and still I can't have the chrystal. I have also changed the address to that ucmc=1 thing, but no result: cannot click the skull or any other part of the trap. Kinda hopeless feeling right now. Can anyone help what I do wrong or what I can do? Any ideas?

Do you have your 1st crystal in your inventory?

I tried the whole subtraction thingy and got 8 primary colors. Looking at them in crystal #1 order didn't work, but I feel those are the correct scrolls to work with in some order since there's only one in a room like the first scrolls.

It has been reported that if you read more scrolls after reading the 12 you are supposed to read.. it can potentially cause problems o_O

Hope it works after doing that though :)

I am back on the subtracting thingey, too, despite rumors it is not working. I just realized also that blue + blue and blue - blue is not how we should be thinking, perhaps? If reasoning that new light is shining through to create that spectrum, and a yellow turns green, for instance, it suggests blue is being "added" to turn yellow into green. But if a primary blue was there before, and blue is there the 2nd time, it indicates NOTHING (in other words, white light) is shining through (as opposed to the blanks where there is no light shining) to allow blue to be the original blue.

Not that I know where to go from here. But for some reason I want to read white scrolls very badly.

The only color to carry over from crystal one to crystal two was blue for me. So I figured out what symbol one of those would be in my card catalog and I went to look at that room. I found tons of those scrolls, and only one for the subtracted colors.
