quick question here, when we are reading the scrolls for the first light, do we have to do it all at once? I hope not, because if we do I'm in serious trouble.

My Red card catalog - note the Symbols that need to be read are circled and note that they are NOT in the same order as the Tablet. You must read the scrolls in the order of the Card from top to bottom:

For the first Crystal:

Look at your wall colors, and your tablet. Match those colors/symbols up on the tablet going left to right. Once you've done that you need to look at the Card Catalogs that are in the 3 colored scroll racks right inside the repository.

You read the first color in your crystal scrolls first and you read them in order of the Card Catalog from top to bottom -- do not read in order of your tablet.

So you are saying you got the Anubis message again after the same scroll? It's perhaps associated with that scroll somehow?

No, what I mean is, my directory says that I'm supposed to go to things like "Desert Fauna", but that's a room, not one single scroll! Which scroll would I read in the Desert Fauna room then?

You read whatever color and symbol lead you to that room. for instance if it was a yellow lat, you read the yellow lat scroll. there will only be one correct scroll in the room so you might have to search a bit.

Just to throw in some more craziness... Both Ian and Dolphin were reading 2 Djo scrolls in a row. I have no Djo's so I can't even test this

Both Ian and Dolphin (confirmed with the new "message") were reading 8 scrolls. Ian didn't even get through all 8, he got the message after his 6th scroll. Dolphin originally went to 8 and has since been able to recreate it by reading just 2 or 3 of his scrolls.

What does it mean?? NOTHING. i've tried their theories, along with many others. I agree with Ian that it probably isn't the clue, just something else.

Ian, what order were you reading the scrolls in.

I saw a note where you said it was crystal order of

R B Y

with overlay of new crystal

O G P

to give you

Y R B

I don't understand the transition to YRB, nor do I understand the overlay since they don't match up in position.

I'm also trying to find a connection between you and Dolphin... what did you have for dinner last night? I know it might not sound important, but I shall leave no stone, errr I mean scroll, unturned!!

I got OGP from crystal 2. Starting with O and reading one way gives you OPG and the other way gives OGP. Subtracting RBY from OPG gives YRB. YRB also happens to be the left to right sequence of my catalogue racks.
I can also use the sequence PGO with RBY to give BYR this puts the Red Djo eigth in the sequence but still gives the message.

Well, I finally figured out what I'm doing wrong! I forgot to account for the spaces! I read all my scrolls WITHOUT spaces, and messed it all up!
Oh well, I'm on the right track now. And everything's on 2 floors now!

Is someone still collecting the list of where people had things located?

that crystal color thing? Does not compute for me.

My first crystal is RBY
the second crystal is OGP (O top, G left, P right)
So, that would be YY and nothing for the Y and P

(R and O = Y; B and G = Y; Y and P = ? nothing I can figure)

my new scroll rack order is BYR

ok stupid question but im gonna ask anyway cause i dont want to do it wrong considering how little patience i have w/ the up and down in the repositry. anyway, one of the areas that i have to go to is tomb artifacts coffin details. is there a specific rack in the tomb artifacts area labeled coffin details that anyone knows about or is it elsewhere that i cant see on the map i have? thanks!

I'm wondering if alot of the questions regarding the scroll reading after the first crystal can be stemmed by amending the information in the first post.

It currently reads

"Take the symbols that were designated for that color and read them in order as found in your DIRECTORY (NOT your tablet). If a symbol repeats, read it again."

Perhaps we could amend it to:

"Take the symbols that were designated for each color and create a listing of symbols and colors as they are listed in the order of the DIRECTORY (NOT your tablet). Note: This means you will read all designated scrolls from your first directory (eg, red), then all the designated scrolls from your next directory (eg, yellow), etc. Each symbol/color combination will occur only ONCE in each section to which you need to go."

Or something like that?

There is a section of tomb artifacts called coffin details. There are probably five racks or so in there, so you just have to search through those five racks until you find the particular scroll.
