This would leave me 8 symbols to check (all primary; like IanB's), and I would personally use the order of the Wet Paint Scroll Racks, not the original Useless Crystal, but that is just me. I will try this today and report back if I find anything useful. Or someone can correct me if it has been tried already. Thanks.

anjuna, good luck! I will say this, my wet paint scroll rack order is different, it's BYR ... so you may be onto something!

can someone help me out. i didnt get the instuctions at the beginning, and when some1 tells me i'll probably hit myself but how do u match the colors with ur tablet symbols. like just read the colors from left to right, then match them accordingly to the tablet symoblos from left to right.

Well I checked my 8 symbols reading blue then red, then red than blue (pretty easy as my colour subtracting only leaves me with two colours which I felt was wrong in the first place, not my calculations you understand, just that there was only two) to no avail.

So either I've messed up, and I never mess up, or that theory isn't cutting it.

Yes you match them from left to right.

if ianb got the next clue message what did he do to get it?
have others gotten it? are we sure they have after 8 scrolls or are they teasing us cause they are all in the chat room and we havent ventured there? yeh i know im being (wats that word?) but im sure i saw a post by one of them in an earlier split saying that they knew what to do but werent going to tell us, or was that related to something else alltogether?

im still trying for the dang spike trap lol getting annoted wiht the kickout time now rofl and i have a migraine so really shouldnt be here at all but i can guarantee as soon as i go bed everything will kick of again lol

I don't think I have the clue message. There was no "You pet understands...", just the Anubis bit. I've also now got th same message after a 12 scroll sequence although it appeared when I read the same scroll as inthe 8 scroll sequence.

Okay, so I matched the symbols on my tablet with the directory, and it gives me room names. Now how am I supposed to know which scroll to read in that area? Aren't there like 20 scrolls on a rack, and several racks in each room? I'll never get the hang of this

where is the Dormakilian Scrolls room. i couldnt find it on the maps.

Just stick with it, and note down where you found the scroll so that if you mess up you can find it easily again.

I'm in the same boat and tried that (even to the extent of looking at the Card Catalogs in their original configuration but current listings... i.e. unpainted ). I had as much success as you did.

Both Ian and Dolphin (confirmed with the new "message") were reading 8 scrolls. Ian didn't even get through all 8, he got the message after his 6th scroll. Dolphin originally went to 8 and has since been able to recreate it by reading just 2 or 3 of his scrolls.

What does it mean?? NOTHING. i've tried their theories, along with many others. I agree with Ian that it probably isn't the clue, just something else.

Ian, what order were you reading the scrolls in.
