I'm not too clear about this:

4) Now click the colored directory that is the same as the first color on your crystal. Take the symbols that were designated for that color and read them in order as found in your DIRECTORY (NOT your tablet). If a symbol repeats, read it again.

umm...read them as in?

Go to the post at the beginning of the split. Read the instructions, and if you don't understand those, come back and I will help. Some of what you're asking is there.

And they don't really make all that much sense to me.

Uh, the next part of the LDP is out, but it's "undefined" in every speech bubble. Is this hopefully this is a mistake by TNT? Also, I did read the summary, but how do we match up the symbols in the first place? I'm still waiting for my first light.

Ok,here's something VERY stange.
I was working through a sequence. I had read 5 Yellow scrolls and moved on to Red with 2 Blues still to do. There was only 1 Red scroll to read - a Red DJO in section Ruki Population Surveys. Went and found the scroll and read it but got this weird response.....
Hmm, interesting!
Anubis Toxicology Reports
then the two buttons "Back to Scroll Repository" and "Back to Story"
That was it, nothing else.

If have absolutely no idea what this means.

Is it a bug?

I agree. I have been going over them for quite awhile and now my brain is speghetti. I am assuming that it will be clearer as I progress??? I am still waiting for the lights after putting in my first chrystal

I'm so befuddled by all this!

Also, is there set times for getting the light now? I still need my first one, and i'm getting irritated by that fact.

Very strange indeed... sure looks like some kind of bug to me, but well, it won't hurt just having a quick peek in the basement I guess?

Azzie or Alchemist: I'll try to post pictures later after school. But until then...how is there exactly 4 red, etc? If I match every single catalog to my tablet, I get more than four. Do I stop at a certain point?

Is it you find the corresponding scroll of the same colour as the light, correct symbol and in whatever room they tell you where it is and click on it to read it?

Nobody knows for sure. As far as I know, nobody could find anything in that room that "jumped out" as the next clue. Can you tell us exactly how you determined which scrolls to read and in what order?

Well Ilooked around down there but I can't see anything different although I didn't try every scroll rack! I can only guess it's a bug. Can anyone 'looking in' confirm/deny that as it's got me very puzzled.
