What if we have to 1) use the order of the color of our scroll racks (not the original crystal) to determine sequence of rooms; 2) use the new (non-primary) colors in two ways (both addition and subtraction, if you think about it; once to get the orange/green/purples and a second time to get the whites; then 3) actually use both, back and forth if need be to ONLY use the new colors? In other words, use the card catalog in the sequence of your scroll rack color sequence to find the rooms; but then click on the orange, green, or purple, or white (rather than the original red, yellow, and blue) scroll of that symbol once you get to the room?

Or is this theory way too hard for even TNT to put us through? That is my best thought for the nite. I am too tired to try it now, but if anyone wishes too, good luck. I will tomorrow, hopefully.

I'm still seeking spikes, but has anyone tried this?

On the secondary colors, after you subtract the original primary color to figure out the primary color from the 2nd crystal, to know which card-catalog rack to check the tablet 'glyph for scroll location, go back to the resulting secondary color (i.e., the colors actually seen in the Indiana Jones picture) when seeking the particular scroll with that 'glyph to read?

In other words, read another 12 scrolls, but this time some will be primary colors, some secondary.

It seems logical to me, but if it's been mentioned, I missed it.

It's similar to what anjuna just posted, but not dealing with white -- after all, we haven't seen white spots from our spectrums yet.

Also, the "Wet Paint" sign may indicate we mix the colors like paint rather than like light.

Thank you thank you thank you, Stampsyne, for your summaries & pointers -- I'd be "lost-er" without them! Do you have groupies yet? May I be one?

I thought of that too, just assumed others had tried it. Also I wondered why the white would be left out, if it is a red herring (white herring? lol) from TNT or if we actually need to use all available clues (in this case colors to complete a spectrum, if it indeed needs white at all).

(My logic in this case was blue minus blue equals white (not blue).)

Hope someone figures this out while I sleep, else I have 3 or more combinations of 12 scroll sequences to try tomorrow. :P

I don't think white will be included. No, I feel fairly confident that white comes from a third crystal and that we'll have to do this yet again.

I'm thinking white may come into play with the next crystal.

Also, I am not sure you would see the white spots? After all in LIGHT, all the colors of the spectrum equal white light. (And no, I am not referring to the blank spots, simply blue subtracted from blue, but I suppose that makes even less sense scientifically.)

EDIT: All these new colors were added after that LC, anyway, I should hope 2 times is enough to do this; three just seems tediously boring.

My example of using BOTH subtracting AND adding the colors theory:

Useless Crystal 1: yyrbxyxyrrrbbxxb
Useless Crystal 2: ggpbxgxyoroppxxb

(Subtracting): bbb?xbx?y?yrrxx?

(With White): bbbwxbxwywyrrxxw

(Adding): ggpbxgxyoroppxxb

(Equaling): ggpwgwowoppw

Thus my 2 "keys" would be ggpbxgxyoroppxxb and bbbwxbxwywyrrxxw but ending up equaling ggpwgwowoppw.

Am I making any sense or just so tired I ... um yeah, no response needed.

If I have this theory correct, I am only left with 8 scrolls, as some of my primary colours from the first Crystal are in exactly the same spot as from the second Crystal.

My 12 spots after subtracting primary from secondary are:
BYY-
--R-
YYBY

Dashes are where both are cancelled out.
