I really think those that are having trouble getting the second crystal are having trouble because they read scrolls after getting the sharp eye message. So far everyone who has responded said they did not read any scrolls after the sharp eye. Someone just got a new first crystal because she lost the first one (sorry forgot who). Are you the same person who was trying something with the new light pattern? If so, you are probably not getting the second one for the same reason.

Right now I've been trapped 4x and gotten jellied once and gassed 3x

Gas
Black Oval Ben
Silver Rectangle Set
Blue Oval Fer

Purple Jelly
Green Oval Tep

I don't know, folks. Looks random to me.

I can. I just redid my "sharp eye" sequence and then went back to the spike trap. This time it worked.

The sequence MUST be the last thing you did.

i have had 3 traps so far
green rectangle kha (fish) was a sand
blue rectangle bed (duck) was gas
red gem djo (double flags) was a water trap

i still don't have any lights showing up, i'm a BEN does that make a difference? there is a light illuminating the back of the model, does the whole room have to be bright or what?

Seems about time for a split to me. I picked the wrong time to wander offline. My light is on and I have 50 minutes until I can try another trap. Here's hoping. Has anybody gotten the second crystal and the second light sequence yet? A screenshot would be great.

does anyone know why the picture of the trap does not show up when I get a trap? I get only the words

looks like a flashlight type beam comming down from a hole in the centre of the left side ceiling. as for it appearing - it seems like it cycles every 8 hours.

Do you have an ad blocker running?

could have something to do with your browser. can you right click on the broken pickture and select show picture?

I can't find what I was looking for in all these posts, I know I saw it earlier though.

I got the spikes, but nothing is clickable. I've no idea what to do...someone had a screenie of the exact spot to click I think.

I'm behind the times, but a question about "getting the light"- when I refresh the room, it is dark, but red lights flash on the wall. Is this normal?

It's been rumoured that it disappears as soon as you move it from your inventory... so well... don't move it

Just go back to the chef to get your first crystal again and then go back into the trap, that should get it back!

I think it is almost certainly random :S I just got mine on the first door in my temple which is a black pentagon Set.

I am having the same problem. It is not an ad blocker issue, it happens with multiple browsers, and there is no broken picture to click on. There is just no picture on the page, just words.

Edit: sigh, another riddle on the wall...another hour to wait
