i'm stuck in the temple for about 8 more minutes, avoiding a giant jelly...

and out of total boredom, i noticed a lil green '1' down on the right... it doesn't do anything (yet), but i thought it was interesting, in case another 'sharp eye' type clue comes about

Yes, Im thinking of running thru them again, but in just about two minutes I can go back to the temple, I might as well get myself locked out before I run thru the scrolls again huh?

I dont think this is right. The first two doors I tried (blue triangle and blue pentagon) gave me a sand trap and a riddle on a wall trap. Both my doors were blue, but gave me different traps.

While I have no new crystal, no new lights, can't even find a spike trap, I do have a theory...

When the 2nd crystal goes into the mini city, it is actually sitting on top of the original crystal. Since they are glass, the original colors show through. Note that hte blanks match up, as does many of the primary colors. So, any colors that remain the same won't change (duh) and any new colors need to be blended to achieve that result. As such, I suggest you only read the scrolls you need to read to obtain the blended colors.

I know it doesn't make much sense. Here's a layout I worked on...



So you only need to read 8 new scrolls to achieve the lighting effect of your new pattern. Make sense? Someone checked out one of the existing colors and when he went into a room there was more than one of the scrolls there, that was a flag that maybe the colors that haven't changed should be ignored.

also, while there is NO confirmation on this point, I would suggest reading from the color catalogs in the same order as the dots from the original crystal.

Since I can't play, let me know how it goes.

Did my theory work for anyone? Sorry for not reading through the thread - I'm pressed for time...

Can anyone confirm that they got the proper spike trap and their second crystal AND they wandered around reading scrolls AFTER getting their "sharp eye" clue??

That is interesting... perhaps we should check all of the trap images.

I think you may be on to something there. I haven't been able to be on much, but do know of 4 people that DID read additional scrolls and could not get the 2nd crystal.

jojoneo, I love it! That's along the lines of what I was thinking and why I wanted a screenie of the new light pattern. The only thing I thought differently was that the old colors still carried over, meaning you still read 12 scrolls. (I think yours would read xRRBxBxYBBRRBRBx)

My light doesn't come on for a few hours still so hopefully someone will confirm either one of these while I'm waiting.

I really think those that are having trouble getting the second crystal are having trouble because they read scrolls after getting the sharp eye message. So far everyone who has responded said they did not read any scrolls after the sharp eye. Someone just got a new first crystal because she lost the first one (sorry forgot who). Are you the same person who was trying something with the new light pattern? If so, you are probably not getting the second one for the same reason.

I'm fairly certain that I didn't read any scrolls after getting the sharp eye message, but I just fell into a spike trap and didn't get the second crystal. Either I went and read some scrolls after the sharp eye message and forgot that I did so, or not every spike trap leads to the second crystal...

I dont see any images when I get a trap, all I see are the words. How do I click on the skull to get my second crystal? Both Internet explorer 6 and firefox does this.

well that sucks - my light is on right now -and i just tried my trap for this hour, and it wasn't a spike

try adding ?ucmc=1 to the URL? Maybe it will just show up in your inventory if you do that.
