Ok, so did we determine that the door the spike was in has to be a "tep" door? Or a particular shape?

Ugg... I have been refreshing for 2 days and still don't have a light. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I have the crystal in my inventory and everything....

If you loose your 2nd usless crystal,

1. go to chef and get a 1st useless crystal
2. get caught in a spike trap with the 1st crystal. (this is where that darn 60 minute lockout is helpful - I was still in my trap from the first time.) you'll get the 2nd crystal


Also, the 2 crystals are probably stacked on each other like it looks. you'll see the first one is gone from your inventory or sdb.

I have my second crystal o_O But the catalog is the same as it was before

Am I supposed to go to the model room, get the lights (again) then go check my card cat to see if its changed??

can someone show me what its supposed to look like please

I think I'll screenie mine before I try to get the second crystal but I just recently got the first light sequence and am slowly making my way out of the repository lol That way everything should be in good order when I get back in to start the great scroll hunt. I also wish I had marked a spike trap on my first temple escapade >_> Now it seems I'll be randomly clicking doors once more lol and...I'm going to mark what door gives me what trap in case we have to do it again to get another crystal part <_<

winter, your lights will come on every 8 hours and stay on for an hour. You need to only refresh once per hour. if you have the patience/endurance to try this for 7 hours straight, I promise you will see the light!

Bah. Guess I have to play the waiting game now :P 3 hours a day... 8 of which I sleeping, 9 of which I am at school (plus the waking up and getting home times)... so only 7 hours available to wait :P

Is there any information about any particular door in the temple for the spike trap. Must it be one with a tep symbol? Any ideas?

When you get the spikes you will see 2 skulls in the spikes. If you click on the eye of the bottom one it will take you to that url. I guess that is what the whole "sharp eye" was all about.

it just has to have a spike trap...I was lucky and remembered where one was from before. Now I just need to wait for the light.

Yes, getting this spike trap isnt easy.. anyone have any clues?

3 times Ive been sanded, and LOL have neomail asking how ..... guess alot of new players are on the site now who havent seen the sand before..... UGHH Bring on the spikes........

Okay, just to let you know what I'm testing at the moment.

Following the same procedure as with the first crystal doing the card catalogues in the order red, yellow, blue.

Taking the symbols that were red, yellow and blue in my first colour matching and looking at what they are in the new catalogue order.

Going to go find the racks and read the scrolls in the new colour order (the number and placement of colours is the same, so x's in the first colours are also x's in the second set of colours).

So here's what I've got:


RED
Eye - (orange) - Anubis Toxicology Reports (basement)
Bird - (red) Rejected Marriage Proposals (basement)
Paw - (orange) Rejected Marriage Proposals (basement)
Leaf - (orange) Lost Desert Art History - Jewelery (level 2)


YELLOW
Fish - (yellow) - The Catacombs, Section Dirt (basement)
Pillar - (yellow) - Asparagus Recipes (basement)
Man - (orange) Sakhmetian Archives, Room 111 (level 1)
Sun - (yellow) The Catacombs, Section Grit (basement)

BLUE
Cup - (green) - Lost Desert Literature (non-fiction) (level 4)
Eye - (purple) - Unsolved Thefts (Desert Scarabs as primary suspects) (basement)
Sheaf - (purple) - Anubis Toxicology Reports (basement)
Leaf - (green) - Central Index Hall South, Section Alpha (level 1)
