I am a bit confused as to the instructions still, even though they've been somewhat clarified. (Thanks for the clarifications, but we could use more.) I have outlined each step along the way that I took to figure this out. Please tell me where/if I'm doing something wrong.

My First Step:

Tablet: SAF, NEM, RA, KHA, KHA, BEN, SET, KHA, BEN, DJO, KHA, DJO, RA, BEN, FER, FER
Light pattern: RRxYYYYBRBxBBxRx

This leads me to believe that I should have the following matches:
Code:
SAF, NEM, RA, KHA, KHA, BEN, SET, KHA, BEN, DJO, KHA, DJO, RA, BEN, FER, FER
 R    R    x   Y    Y    Y    Y    B    R    B    x    B    B   x    R    x

My Second Step:

I went to the catalog and looked up the room names. I won't reproduce those here because that's a lot of unnecessary info to retype. What I did was match up the symbols for yellow, the symbols for red, and the symbols for blue to their names.

I then ordered them in the order that the symbols were found on the catalogs:

Order of the symbols in Blue catalog: DJO, KHA, RA
Order of the symbols in Yellow catalog: KHA, SET, BEN
Order of the symbols in Red catalog: BEN, SAF, FER

My Third Step:

I then looked at my crystal and reordered each colored set in the order of the crystal.
Crystal: YRB

That gave me this:
Order of the symbols in Yellow catalog: KHA, KHA, SET, BEN
Order of the symbols in Red catalog: BEN, BEN, SAF, FER
Order of the symbols in Blue catalog: DJO, DJO, KHA, RA

My Fourth Step:

This is the part that confuses me a bit more. Which scroll to actually read. I'm assuming that the first scroll to read is a yellow KHA scroll in the room that matches yellow KHA on the catalog.

Is this correct or not? I can't seem to find a yellow KHA scroll in that room (Catacombs, Section Dust) and I've been over it twice.

Thanks in advance!

Just looking at the raw stuff you put down, it looks like you dropped a red Nem and added a Red Ben somehow.

EDIT: and, yes, according to the order you gave, you'd read a yellow Kha first (twice in a row, actually).

Updated "sharp eye" ideas....

"A sharp eye holds the next step"

Here's what we have so far...

1. We know about the sharpeye card, but can't see any connection

2. We know Remnok has a sharp eye for desert weapons, but where is he? Vanished with Sakhmet? Tomos was in an amoury in the temple... could he be hiding in there? The staff his sharp eyes found is called Hakethon. He said the word "luck" to solve his riddle. Maybe we need to use the word luck?

3. Kacheek Seek?

4. Mystery Pic? Maybe check these out...
Round 441 - The Mysterious Statue
Round 440 - Fortune Teller Header
Round 437 - Scamander Background
Round 424 - Peopatra's Pet Pets shopkeeper
Round 423 - The Deep Catacombs (reminds us of the repo)
331 is the Maraquan statue, I'm almost certain, and should probably be excluded.
So, the most obvious would be the Fortune Teller Header: Which seems to say, "Do you see what I see?" And my answer to that is "no." I see nothing in the new text and nothing in the source, other than the link to the well-worn swf with the spinning ben scroll.

5. Something to do with the Tep symbol? People have tried reading the tep scroll in the temple library. Nothing Perhaps we need to read tep scrolls at the repository in some relevant order?

6. Lots of games on neopets that require aiming/sharp vision. Probably nothing though.

7. There could be a "special" scroll rack somewhere hidden in the repository. Maybe with a name like "Disappearances of Sakhmet" or the such. It would take a sharp eye to find such a rack

8. A needle is sharp and has an eye.

9. Hidden blocks or rooms in the repository or temple. Maybe reading one of the tep scrolls could open a new set of stairs in the repo?

10. Irregular storage section? Something fishy in there?

11. Nothing new with Fortune teller/Chef/tablet/Nuria.

12. How about something associated with vision? Glasses? Extra Thick Goggles? But how to use these items?

13. There is a user named sharpeye. 5 years, no pets, no additonal info.

14. "eye" foods? or even other "eye" related items.

15. The clickies, yellow boxed areas that seem to do nothing, in the comics. It taks a 'sharp eye' to find those yellow boxes.

16. In the Comic, Chapter 2, page 3 Jazan holds up a scroll (marriage?) That shows a symbolic wedding. The seal on this scroll is TEP (eye). Could this point us to a hidden scroll in the repository?

17. Coltzan's shrine could resemble a needle. No results though.

18. Could "A SHARP EYE" be an anagram? Maybe "see harpy" as in witch. Sophie the swamp witch is a Lost Desert TCG card and also on the cover of this month's neopets magazine. But where do we find her?

19. Something with the neocam (random pics or live shot?)

20. Something hidden in sutek's tomb?

21. Maybe the key is in the "holds the next step" the whole phrasing is kind of strange.

22. The special Tep (eye) scroll info: Tep Scroll name: History of the Sakhmet Dynasty. Scroll description: Here you could sail from lake to sea. Could there be something to be done with this info?

23. Reading all the tep scrolls in the "tep" rooms of your card catalog didn't work

24. Perhaps we should go on a scavenging spree all across Neopia, checking images... for MI, there were clues hidden in shopkeeper images in related shops...

25. The mini city's dome is like an eye an holds a crystal (no new clickables there, although there are the symbols on the back wall that may be hard to see).

26. Could the "sharp eye" be referring to spotting the spinning ben scroll? Someone checked ben scrolls from teh card catalog and no luck.

27. What future secrets/use could the foreman have?

28. The Rejected Marriage Proposals section could be useful

29. What about a Meowclops? They have one sharp eye and are known to hang with the Sophie the Swamp witch (lost desert TCG card). Not to mention the possible anagram of Sharp Eye (see harpy - harpy meaning witch).

Keep those ideas coming!

Well as far as "sharp eye" goes, Im hitting roadblocks everywhere. I tried to read all the tep's in my card catalog, I know...a longshot. I didnt expect much as there were multiples in two of the rooms...and yes, as you guessed...NOTHING happened. So anyone thinking of trying it - Dont waste your time!

Just looking at the raw stuff you put down, it looks like you dropped a red Nem and added a Red Ben somehow.

Then, make sure you cover all of the dust section. make sure there aren't 2 sections. or even 3.

I went to my map and counted 18 racks in the dust section. Only one (at the top) I'm not sure whether it's counted among the few sand or among the dust, so there *might* be 19.

It will tell you at the top of the screen. Just click on the scroll rack, then look at the top of the page. it will let you know where you are.

I've gone back and read the scrolls in the correct order, but my blue AHN scroll is still missing from the Annals of Insanity.

Here's a screenie of everything if anyone would check and see if I've done something wrong:

Whoops! I did switch out the Nem/Ben symbols. I'll fix that. Thanks for the help!

'K finally got down there (I was all the way up on the 5th floor!) and thanks to TopsyTourny's note, I verified that the rack I was uncertain of belongs to Sand

So there are 18 racks in the dust section.

Read in this order (you pick up the rooms from your catalog please)

Yellow: Djo, djo, kha nem
Blue: fer, kar, ahn, nem
Red: djo, kar, ahn, nem

be sure to read the yellow djo twice!

Absolutely, 15 racks -horizonal row and then the vertical row.
I'm using this map and am looking on section 14 of the basement:
http://www.neopets.com/~Pyretta_Blaze

I've got the correct order now, and read DJO twice.

Ok you need to read in the following order:
Yellow - djo - TWICE, kha, nem
Blue - Fer, kar, ahn, nem
Red - dja, kar, ahn, nem

That should do it...good luck

The letters in "sharp eye" can be rearranged to spell "see harpy" Sophie the Swamp Witch is one of the TCG cards in the Lost Desert card checklist, and she is also featured on the cover of the new issue of Neopets magazine. Could she have someting to do with it?
