Hi IanB, there are no benches, there are either scroll racks or walls in the way, I cannot walk through either of those, to get to those stairs... they are totally inaccessible

Hi everyone, What is secret to getting to the stairs on the 4th floor that lead to the 5th..

There is furniture in the way, and the map at the start of this thread isnt showing either, since that has a dead end drawn in too,

How did everyone get from the 4th to the 5th floor?

The map at the beginning is missing a row. That stair at the bottom left quadrant is open to the public.

The map is wrong. There is an extra row not shown - there IS a way through to the stairs, just follow the correct corridor between the racks.

Hi again, Ive doubled checked the only stair at the bottom left quadrant is the one in the map mentioned at the start of this thread, but its not accessible, there is furniture in the way.

How then do you get to the 5th floor?

Im totally stuck on the 4th, with no way to go up to the 5th, since furniture is blocking all accesses to those stairs

can anyone help me with this?

Take a look at the maps in the first post. Don't think that the stairs on the very far right are the stairs to get to the 5th. They aren't. They're the secret passage stairs.

Hi there, yes that map in the 1st post is what Im looking at and you can see on the map too that there is no access to those stairs, as their is either a wall or furniture in the way to get to the coords mentioned.

If you look at the map in the 1st post you can see theres no access through..

how did everyone get there then?

Wander around a bit moving left and down. You'll find the proper stairs.

I just ventured into the the scary world of newboards, where I dont ndrstnd chtspk.

A Theory there is that maybe the light times have something to do with the colors on the top of your usless crystal .

Mine is YRB, and I havent seen the lights. Anyone else?

I think that the image is generic and its the same YRB for everyone.

Ra is my symbol, but i think that thoery is disproven.

people on neoboards are reporting they have other sequences. There are only six, though.

I am saf, and YRB, still no lights as of 8:03nst. Other saf's have got light at the same time (within the minute) that I didn't have any.

yeah i know what you mean - watched prison break and then flipped over to RAW - hard to concentrate on those with all this going on and testing theories

Forget the map on the first post for the fourth floor. it's messing everyone up. when you are in the repository on the fourth floor and you are over on the right side where the blocked staircases are, work your way through the maze of scroll racks moving your way left and down. you'll find the correct stairs.

Can someone fix the map in the 1st post... if that was possible it would be wonderful.

Maybe you'd be better off using your tablet, stamp, since there really are 16 spots on the side wall, not 15. Sigh.

Here's my theory. The symbols in the room are generic for everyone, so they are not right. The 16 spaces should match up to your tablet. (The fortune teller does still tell us to take another look at it). Then, the color and the symbol will refer you to a certain section of the repository, based on the catalogs.

However, I believe you need more information as to which scroll to read in the different sections. (There are 7 colors and 5 scroll types as well, not just red blue and yellow).


And I'm still waiting for my light and indiana effect.

Yeah, it does pose a problem. The theory so far:

The red, blue, and yellow lights correspond to the card catalogs.

Say the first four colors/spaces I have on my wall are red, yellow, blank, yellow. The first four symbols on my tablet are ahn, set, lat, fer. So first I would go to the red card catalog and find the ahn scroll (there will be only one), which will have a repository section listed next to it. Then I go to that section of the repository and read the red ahn scroll (this is the part I'm unsure about -- there are so many colors; why should we be limited to red, blue or yellow?). Then I'd read the yellow catalog's set, skip the lat, and read the yellow catalog's fer. But you're right -- it all seems to make sense except for the actual reading of the scroll. Anyone have a slightly different theory?

Are the Blue, Yellow and Red Scrolls in the Scroll Racks the same for everyone?


My symbol is SET and they are:

Blue: Tool Use among the Geb Population, Section B

Yellow: Artisan Licensing Records, Yurbles

Red: Inorganic Chemistry.

You have to spiral round the room.

From the stairs into the 4th floor, you have to go all the way right, all the way down, all the way left, all the way up, to the last passage down on your right then jig downwards 'til you see a way left and follow that around.

Sorry so terse. Trying to simplify.
