Hi everyone, What is secret to getting to the stairs on the 4th floor that lead to the 5th..

There is furniture in the way, and the map at the start of this thread isnt showing either, since that has a dead end drawn in too,

How did everyone get from the 4th to the 5th floor?

Lessee. I think 0,0 is the upper left corner (correct me if I'm wrong). SO row 13 is missing and the stairs up to 5 are row 16, column 7. (I think those are the coords.)

thanks for the reply, those coords are correct but there is no access to those stairs, from any side.

is there no other way to the 5th floor?

Hi again, Ive doubled checked the only stair at the bottom left quadrant is the one in the map mentioned at the start of this thread, but its not accessible, there is furniture in the way.

How then do you get to the 5th floor?

Im totally stuck on the 4th, with no way to go up to the 5th, since furniture is blocking all accesses to those stairs

can anyone help me with this?

Take a look at the maps in the first post. Don't think that the stairs on the very far right are the stairs to get to the 5th. They aren't. They're the secret passage stairs.

I just went to the section corresponding to my first color and symbol (red set) from the wall and read every scroll (only 2 racks, so it was pretty easy). My symbol is the ahn. For one rack, every scroll I read had the message "Wow, that was interesting!", and the other rack had the "Gee, that scroll was really boring" message. My symbol is the ahn; both racks had an ahn, and both were red.

Is it coincidence that the message is different based on the rack? I wonder if that's supposed to be a clue to which scroll to read . . . .

I just ventured into the the scary world of newboards, where I dont ndrstnd chtspk.

A Theory there is that maybe the light times have something to do with the colors on the top of your usless crystal .

Mine is YRB, and I havent seen the lights. Anyone else?

Here's my theory. The symbols in the room are generic for everyone, so they are not right. The 16 spaces should match up to your tablet. (The fortune teller does still tell us to take another look at it). Then, the color and the symbol will refer you to a certain section of the repository, based on the catalogs.

However, I believe you need more information as to which scroll to read in the different sections. (There are 7 colors and 5 scroll types as well, not just red blue and yellow).


And I'm still waiting for my light and indiana effect.

DO you mean the bottom left corner of the 4th floor? If so then the furniture is NOT blocking your way - just click on an empty square on the other side and you'll be past it - you can walk through benches.

Those aren't the names of scrolls, those are the names of rooms.

Hi there, yes that map in the 1st post is what Im looking at and you can see on the map too that there is no access to those stairs, as their is either a wall or furniture in the way to get to the coords mentioned.

The MAP is wrong. It's missing the 13th row that allows there to be a path there. In the actual repository, the "missing" row is there and you can get through.

I think that the image is generic and its the same YRB for everyone.

Forget the map on the first post for the fourth floor. it's messing everyone up. when you are in the repository on the fourth floor and you are over on the right side where the blocked staircases are, work your way through the maze of scroll racks moving your way left and down. you'll find the correct stairs.

Well, I come back ... and I see the 16 digit vs. 15 digit debate.

Just to let you know:

Mine starts with a BLANK, it seems. so I started out with my 2nd "color" on the wall ... and matched it with my first symbol. I just finished reading that sequence ... but nothing.

Before seeing the light, I had read all 36 scrolls ... but nothing.


Will try the tablet / color mapping now.
