Imagine you just signed up for neopets and you are a newbie lost in the neopets world.
Does it bring back any memorys?

Everything was so interesting when I was a newbie

I went to every single page possible ...

Of course, now everything revolves around my NP xP Nothing else interests me.

It took me a week to find out that I was meant to battle in the battledome!
I was soooooo poor back then!

I didn't even know about the battledome then and I was in to the np earning thing and stocks but not too much in to the games bit and those annoying things that annoy you so much

I remember when I used to only earn 2K a day!
Newbies have a hard time adjusting to this new world. (well for me anyways)

Me too! I thought the place was just amazing (even though it was rather basic all those years ago, haha).

Most things do revolve around NP for me too nowadays. Saving NP all the time so I can spend it. But I don't mind

I enjoy it!

There's awesome things to save for now. When I was a newbie I thought the most amazing thing there was were the rainbow-coloured items. I was so uneducated about neopets at the time hahahaha.

For me, it was all about my cute lil pets!
I couldn't wait to fix them up a home (still not done) and buy pretty paintbrushes (instead I torture my fav with the ray) and lots of books and toys and foods (now I sell all the books I get; they only get played with during certain games and only fed by sponsor freebies.) I quickly learned to be "all about the mighty neopoint" too - how else will I ever finish that home? or buy those toys? or train my pet?

When I was a newbie, there wasn't a battledome. O.o';
Sad, because if I had known back then, I would have held ON to some of those weapons that would've been worth something today.. instead I sold them. ;.;

Hehe, thinking of my newbie days makes me think of the first Sloth plot, and how the old pets used to look, and how little things cost. XD It also makes me realize if I had played serriously, I could've been so much more powerful today. Instead, I still have the stats of a newbie. ^^";

Ahh, it's hard to remember that far back...I know I was lost and confused but quickly became addicted to the things that guaranteed a nice load of NP: Poogle Solitaire, Neoknights, and Grundo's Gym in particular. I also collected all the petpets at the time (and even had a few Krawks when they were somewhat buyable) but gave up when they released all the Petpet paint brushes and new colors. The horror.

OH!! I loved grundos! I remember when they took it down, I checked that page forever, thinking it would come back.
