The boards are saying its to do with the gender of your pet, but I can't actually get the royal boy one on my side account.
I got the royal girl one on my main.

Well, clicking the Royal Girl got me nothing, but clicking the Royal Boy got me the Royal Girl avatar. And if you can only get one that's hardly fair. o_O

Just random then? My pet is male. >.> I'm happy with the one I got. I like royalboy Korbat more then Royalgirl.

This feel like the Meerca Bros avatar. You only get one and that one was random.

EDIT: fair..on Neopets? X_X I wish that was true.

yep, I looked up the male first because I wanted the royal girl one and the active pet was male, so I didnt get it, then I looked the royal girl up and got the royal boy av.

be careful when choosing

Ah, now I get it. If your account is male, you get the female one, if your account is female, you get the male one. Looking at the replies tells me this much.

Actually, what I'm reading is that it's the gender of your account, and not your pet. I looked up a male korbat with both a male pet, and a female pet, and I didn't get the av. My account, however, is female.

*Edit* Weewoo beat me to it.

Since I can't stand the male korbat av, I'd rather not get it at all than have an avatar I don't like.

Last I checked. TNT has now banned gender changing. People were going psycho on the Neoboards long ago with gender bending. =/
