y'know? maybe the Stargate thing isn't so random... i mean, don't they use that warp-portal to go to different places/times? eh? Qasala? eh??

Thanks, anjuna :) i wasn't so much confused as impatient... i mean, muck around on the first floor for a while, or meander throughout the other 4 floors to start from the top? bah, i'd better just get it in gear.

Sorry, LOL, no I am cracked too right there with you, I did and scoured the whole basement square by square. On that note, I end for the nite.

If possible "13th" and beyond scrolls, if they are in fact duplicates and related to the plot; along with my crazy "lets just get rid of the Crystals and exhaust the Chef's unlabelled boxes" theory is all we have to go on for now, I will rest my weary mind.

I've been wishing for a Stargate connection since day one. I so hoped my symbol would be Image. Oh well. I guess not even Gen O'Neill could help me.

ref to missing scrolls... I have found them all but one... (the large scroll that rolls from left to right.) blue fer. So far I have gone thru every rack twice on floors 1,2,4,5,and the basement and halfway thru 3 again.Thought I had missed it somewhere but I think it is really missing. Maybe one of the secret stairs will open up some more rooms and all the missing scrolls will be there. Another thought...what if you have to read the scrolls in a specific order to open up the rooms that might hook up with LC??? o_O

I see nothing new has come up while I was a sleep :(
But I think there is something with the numbers in this plot. I'm summing them up:
Libraries in the temple:
12 symbols
4 colours
3 shapes

Temple:
12 symbols
6 colours
4 shapes

Repository Scrolls:
12 symbols
7 colours
5 shapes
I dont think the libraries in the temple has something to do with it, but I'm thinking the in the temple there was 6 colours and 4 shapes, and in the repository there are 57 colours and 5 shapes... Also 5+7=12, number of symbols. I cant figure anything out of these numbers, but maybe this has some significans.

Also, 3 * 4 = 12 and 6 * 4^.5 = 12. Everything is defined by the same numbers. It is so creepy it can't be true. Also 5 * 7 + 12 * 7/12 = 42. Coincedence?

No, I dont think it is a coincidence... But I cant turn my head around it. So long since I was in school and had math like this. Maybe some of you math-wiz can figure something out? o_O

I know someone posted this once before but nobody really took any notice... and i saw the post about the SDB with 4 of 4 items, even though people say thats a glitch look at this

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: sr4_crystal_order() in /home/neopets/public_html/desert/ldp/crystal.phtml on line 18

mainly this part "sr4_crystal_order() " like there is more than 1 and they go in a certain order.......

If the useless crystal is indeed a prism, light shining on it would be refracted, EXCEPT for the points of light shining through those enigmatic holes. Perhaps, properly placed, the prism points to the access to the hidden stairs.

Maybe we have to collect all 4, then place them in a right order to see the entrance to Sakhmet or soemthing? I dont think all the clues have been released yet. I remember it took a while after the tablet was accesable before the clues came out. we were pondering how to solve the tablet for a while before suddenly the Pyramid-game gave us the first clue

EDIT: I also think if we take the time-line into consideration there is no need for the temple after we tell the statue the prophesy.
1. The Temple and riddle became available. Ppl didnt know what to do with it, so alot of ppl mapped it, and we figured out the riddle and found tha statue, but didnt know what to say to it. Ppl read the scroll in the libraries corresponding to the symbol on the statue.
2. then the FT and the mysterious tablet came out. Ppl poundered that for a while as well, then suddenly the first clue came in a Pyramid-game. We translated the tablet and told the statue the prophesy to get covered in Scarabs.
I think its strange that we have to tell the statue a wrong prophesy to move on in the plot. I dont think we should be able to get into the temple again after we did the prophesy, thats why we are stuck at the statue.
3. Getting access to the repository. If you read the right scroll. Ppl might have had to go back to the temple because they had read other scrolls after the correct one. But that is only because they didnt do it right.
4. Now we have scrolls in the repository, and we have the chef who gave us the crystal. But I feel something is missing here. We can try to find the correct order to read the scrolls, but there are too many variables. If you only take the scrolls that match your symbol you have 35 different scrolls. That is alot of combos! So I dont think this is the answer. I think we just have to wait...again.....

How do you know theres 4?
Surely sr4 refers to the Scroll Repository.
And currently, the pic used for the SR is sr4_ext.gif

I think it is 4 because of what is discusse din the eralier pages of this thread. If you look up Useless Crystal in the search of your SDB the number 1-4 comes up...

ok, look!
we can get to the secret stairs from the 5th floor
but we we go down we find our self in the 1st floor (or is it the 2nd?)
in the plot nabile and tomos have just found themself at the tombs...
and we built the repository without getting any news about it!!!
we need to wait
100% sure that the crystal IS useless for now...
and dont start with that math...

WOAH :o 92 threads, all with at least 10 pages, and 15 posts per page!! If my calculations are correct, thats at least 13800 posts :o You lot have definately been busy :P I don't really understand the whole temple thing - is the basic idea to try each door, mark which ones are traps, and move through the temple until I find a library or a statue?
