Jojoneo: I think you can Sell the Crystal (or least put it in Shop/Gallery). My main point is you can set it aside, somehow, to get another; and although we may not be able to keep another (or more than one), we can GET more until --I am hoping-- the Chef opens a new unlabelled box and finds Food, since we can't bring that to him, technically.)

EDIT: You can also Discard it, and I still think that might be something worth trying once. (Collectively, as I think the effect of them all landing under the Money Tree at the same time might "reflect" Sakhmet somehow.) The worst that could happen is we would all have to get one more Useless Crystal, and it might in fact help exhaust those unlabelled boxes of supplies. I am either going to start selling mine or start just getting more from the Chef some way or another. Sorry if I sound like Officially the Craziest Person on the Forum now, but I do somehow find it more amusing and somehow rewarding than travelling around Tombs or Repositories and reading thousands of Scrolls for apparently no reason.

You can't donate the crystal. So it wouldn't go to the Money Tree. Discard is deletion of the item from the servers entirely, nobody else gets it. You can only put it in your gallery, deposit box, or discard it.

Oh darn, yes, sorry for that; and thanks for the clarification. Mind thinks of too many things at once sometimes. Still, do you think setting it aside somehow to exhaust the Chef's unlabelled boxes might be worthwhile? Since we can't take food directly to give to him?

Edit: Your last two are easily simple forms of stuff I suggested earlier. I never went the tech route since the LD seems to have very little tech, except for tanks (see Swarm).

OK, see too many things on mind. We CAN DONATE the Crystals! Trade does not equal Donate. I see Donate in my drop down list. Meaning we can donate to the Money Tree.

We can collectively Donate the Crystals to try to make a prism of sorts, at worst we all have to get 1 more Useless Crystal. Or we can try to just discard them, as they are labelled Useless, in the hopes that the Chef actually opens up an unlabelled box with something Useful. Or is this totally out there along with Sky's physics? (No offense, of course as it inspired this.)

EDIT: Might I even suggest a time, tonight at 00:00 NST hoping that it does not interfere with too many schedules, for us to collectively try this?

OR: Alternate suggestion would be at a more "opportune" time such as when the Temple [img] changes from sun-up to sun-down, is it 5 or 5:50 PM NST does anyone know? Or care to post?

ALSO: I want to know where the other users are getting the Rhuby Fruit to feed the Kadoaties, when it is Desert Food apparently unavailable now?

No, you can't donate it. Or trade it. Or put it in your shop. Only discard, gallery, or deposit box. You can't even feed it to Grarrls or Skeiths. "ERROR : Sorry, but that action is not available for this item."

I hven't been around (power supply on my puter died), and I haven't read through every post, but I don't really see the point of donating the crystals. You'd only have to go back to the chef for another, right?

Unless they changed what you can do with them, you can't trade or put them in your shop (I tried - just for safekeeping, my SDB is just too big). Mine's in my gallery so I'll be able to get to it quickly when/if we need it for ... whatever TNT's got up their sleeve.

Just kind of surprised that nothing's happened in days. I think this plot is going on longer than the MI one - but then again, I didn't participate in that one.

So someone blatantly lied on forum (about their Grarrl being able to eat one)? Or maybe a glitch? Why is it in the dropdown list if we can't use that function? I don't have a Feed it to my (Nimmo) function, but I have others.

the only thing I've noticed that I don't recall seeing mentioned here is that, from what I've seen, all the secret stairways have been placed where scroll racks were never put.
The only place (to me) that seems like it might be a future place for a hidden stairway in the basement is the square containing row31col5, row31col6. row32col5, and row32col6.

anjuna, whoever it was who said their grarrl ate a crystal may not have been lying - if they're hungry, grarrls and skeiths will eat anything in your inventory (it's a really good idea to keep them well fed at all times!).

m ann, I'm wondering if that scroll is one of the random event scrolls -- which there don't seem to have been too many of. Did you try searching that one in the shop wizard for galleries? That's the only thing I can think of, either that or it's an unreleased (but for some odd reason searchable) item.

clovrchild, the whole plot has made my head swim from time to time! I'm trying to not think about it too much or too hard right now. I'll just wait for the next (probably unannounced until people here find it) update.
