I'll disown you for saying that.

How about All Along the Watchtower covered by a fellow by the name of Jimi Hendrix.

Most Bob Dylan covers are better, though...

Absolutely. In fact, I'll go on record as saying they make the best covers. It gives the foundation of a really solid song and then lets amazing artists like Hendrix or the Byrds or the Rolling Stones just go to town on them.

I'd like Dylan to keep Positively 4th Street, though. With its lame-as-hell last line, still a cracker.

I love Placebo's version of Running Up That Hill (Original - Kate Bush)

Those are absolutely awful. :P

I like My Torniquet by Evanescence a lot, so that's probably my favorite.

Meh, punk rock. :P I Believe in a Thing Called Love wouldn't be called 'good', it'd be more like... funny... obviously Pierre Bouvier can't get high enough as the Darkness. XD

I'm ashamed to say this, but I rather like Britney's cover of My Prerogative.

If only for the music in the intro thing where she says all that crap. :P

But the BB version is such fun. :D

I like Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt (Nine Inch Nails).

The Nine Inch Nails cover of Joy Division's Dead Souls.

Orgy's cover of New Order's Blue Monday

And, despite most people's opinion of them: The Cure's covers of Depeche Mode's "World in My Eyes" and Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart"

I'll just take that as an exalt for Simple Plan, lol. :P

*drum roll* Well here's my list of random covers I like.

King Of Pain - Alanis Morissette. I love the original song, and I love Alanis, so pretty good combination.
One - R.E.M
Paint It Black - Vanessa Carlton
Wicked Game - HIM
Total Immortal - The Offspring
I Feel Love - Red Hot Chili Peppers
