Ok, I'm too lazy to read through all the posts since last time I was on... so any important recent discoveries? Or is the plot as slow as usual?

Thanks and sorry if I'm a bother

Nothing new. About 10 pages full of battledome advise, puntuated by some guy named Sky-something soliloquizing about various stuff about the plot.

It's so dull you've forgotten you're own name? Wow, I guess I really didn't miss anything :)

Edit: Ugh. It always seems like pages and pages are posted when I'm not there, then when I come everybody leaves. Anyway, if anyone's kept track of what doors lead to what traps for them, could they PM me or neomail me(at alianne42) their list? I want to see if it's anything like the one I'm getting.
Thanks

Argh! Finally I get to kill something in this plot...

...and my battle pet gets stuck in a fight after 5 fights.

No more battling for me until TNT unsticks her.

If I don't get to battle any more because of this I'm going to be cranky.

Well, I decided to give up on my SDB for the night, bought two Scarab Rings, got 15 Spirit kills and 3 Scordrax kills before I realized that I have to get a shower yet before heading to bed. I would have gone for 5 Scordrax kills, but on the fourth battle he started Jade Scorchstoning every turn, which made it impossible without my Scuzzys Combs.

Thu Oct 20, 2005 4:17 am

YAY! Got the Spirit of the Ruins on the 11th try. Pet has low battle stats, all 3 are 44, level is 21.

Note: He does not seem to defend on the first turn, so use 2 snowballs and Burrow.

Weapons I used, on recommendations from here and IDB

leaf shield
scarab ring
greater scroll of healing
downsize
4 snowballs (yellow, peach, or evil)

Refresh the status page; if that doesn't work, try unequipping and re-equipping a cheap weapon. (I saw it posted somewhere that you could lose a weapon doing this, but I think that's rare.)

Sky, thanks for many laughs!!

Damage:
810 hp

Note to self: DON'T berserk the spirit. O_O He almost OHKO'D my pet.

Thu Oct 20, 2005 4:58 am

Armi, the spirit does some interesting things with that tiki bomb and it's other weapons/abilites doesn't it?! I just beat it 5 times, the last time it actually got me for 80 damage in one hit. Of course I then set my pet to pummel it into the ground (I lurve my jetsam!).

I can't bring myself to try scordrax, I keep seeing posts by very good battlers with great weapons going insane over the darned multi-heal and how hard that's making things. My pet isn't in that league either in stats, hp or weapons.

I think I'll leave it at 5 wins over the spirit for the night -- just in case there is something announced and our current wins don't get added (would be very annoyed for everyone if that happens).

The combo was tiki bomb+ sword+ berserk. Tch...I never expected that much damage berserking. I had estimated 650 damage,not 800+. ;_;

The scorchio is a pain. His healing is driving me insane, but I met my battling goal for wars. I don't care to max out.
Still if you wanna beat him, a 100% non easy to break freezer is needed. he seems to heal every other turn. Smack him hard turn one. Hard hit+ freeze next turn...then freeze bomb him to death. now if he heals on the turn you freeze. Run or hope he doesn't heal next rurn and go all out.
Least, that's how I did it.

My weapons are some of the weirdest around since I don't like serious battling.

Skynetmain wrote:I will not count this as part of my analysis since it deals with supposition, not fact. So anyway, enjoy my proposed futures of the plot:
1) Tomos messes up again, and he and Nabile get trapped in the tomb. 'Give my regards to the British Museum!' Jazan continues to decimate Sakhmet. The people revolt and over throw Amira, forcing her to marry Jazan. He turn Sakhmet in to ruins like Qasala.
2) Same as 1, except Tomos and Nabile escape and fail to save Sakhmet.
........

Skynetmain, I just wanted to let you know that I have truely enjoyed your posts throughout this plot!! You should put it all together into a literary journal or something and sell it at that stupid gift shop that's got nothing in it! :)

Act 3

One last one before I call it a night. I hope I don't run out of ideas.

31) Tomos and Nabile find Nuria. With her help, they defeat the Spirit and reopen Sakhmet. They battle their way through the palace and stop Jazan right before he forces Amira to marry him. A big cheer is held. Suddenly, a set of numbers appear below the words 'High Score'. S-K-Y gets entered in the space provided, and I walk away from the arcade.
32) Same as 31, except someone else takes the glory.
33) Same as 31, except the action freezes right before last scene. A grinding sound is heard, followed by light swearing. A person yells, 'Next time get a DVD!'
34) Same as 33, except 'This is a DVD' is shot back.
35) Same as 33, except the shot pulls back. Adam is at his deck inking the last scenes. He shakes his head, crumbles the comic and starts over.
36) (inspired by greenbugsy) Same as 35, except a yell is heard. The gift shop Ruki is glaring at you. 'This isn't a repository,' she says. You grumble, put the comic back, pick up a handful of sand and walk towards civilization.
37) The final battle is brewing. Both sides are ready to fight. Tomos and Jazan raise their swords and lead their armies into battle. Cut to 1000yr later. A Wocky is walking down a hallway. She enters a classroom. 'Now, what were we covering last?' she asks the class. 'The Great Sakhmet War,' an overachieving Lenny answers. 'Very good. What was the outcome of the war?' A Bruce answers, 'It spilled over into the surrounding areas, sides were chosen, all of Neopia was torn apart.' 'Correct,' the teacher replies. 'Which brings us to our glorious leader...' The shot zooms back. The classroom is on a space ship. Sloth's face is painted across the ship. Below them, a ravenged Neopia is seen.
38: Same as 37, except w/ Jhudora.
39) Same as 37, except w/ Illusen.
40) The great war ends. Jazan is no longer evil and marries Amira. Nabile marries Tomos. Peace rules the land, and a new golden age is born! Suddenly, a half-eaten turkey leg smacks a Blumaroo. 'That is the worst story I ever heard!' Skarl yells. 'Take him away!' Guards drag away the Blumaroo as a new, scared jester enters the throne room...

Okay, so I did run out of ideas. Personally, I'd prefer the Jhudora world over the Illusen one. Please! Someone else give new life to these! I'm virtually tapped out unless I go totally esoteric.

Enjoy!
Sky

PS: To green: I am saving these. My mom wanted to read what I wrote before (1st-13th). I figure she'd like these wacky ending too.

Those that have solved the Lenny Conundrum please answer. Plot related? yes. clue? I think so but I'm not sure where to start beside the last episode of the comics. I tried but I can't find anything i'm not sure how to do the tab and fill things you all keep talking about. The last frame of the comic says to go back to the library. I'm trying the one has the lat scroll as soon as I find it again. I tried mapping but I kept getting lost while mapping. Has anyone tried the scrolls that match the two symbols she draws in the comics. In 10 when she tries to translate it. I know its been tried b/4 but things change as clues come out. Also has the Nuria changed for anyone?

Edit: sigh. . . I thought of using the phrase from the conundrum to talk to my nuria but have to wait out the lock out. The lat scroll remains unchanged for now.

I think the LC is more of a question about what has already happened, than it is a clue. But anything's possible.

For most browsers, you simply press the tab button to jump from link to link down the page. On the comics, it will highlight each "hover" box (the places where you hover your mouse for the text). On certain ones (Chapter 5 and 9, I think) there are other odd looking areas that show up, but do not link to anything.

I believe the set and ra (the ones amira wrote) scrolls were tried after the comic was released. At that time, nuria was also the same. I haven't heard of anyone trying these in the last couple of days, if that's what you mean.

Did I miss something about the lat scroll?

Phrase from the conundrum? Am I missing something here?
