Amira's Intentions, from a female perspective: Amira is clearly playing hard to get, as fickle as she is. She doesn't care about her role in society as a leader, nor for responsibility; only about her legacy in a monarchy.

She wants to perpetually have her pick of men, so she is never required to choose, only to deny for one reason or another. I think she just needs to warm up to Jazan; after all I have seen nothing inherently "evil" about him thus far, as he is only seeking to reunite "true love" to reverse a curse.

EDIT: Maybe the curse is that she forgot she *was* in love with him? (And thus far only his demeanor has been off in *demanding* such?)

He is also seeking to save his people, most likely far more than the love thing. He seems like he could care less about that as much as saving his cursed followers. XP But that's just my opinion.

Personally, I think lil miss Aisha pants is the -only- one being selfish in this entire plot. :P So far anyway ._.

*cough* ^-^ Anyway, this question is a bit off topic buut...

Is it just me... or is it getting a tad annoying that almost every war plot has a wedding/marriage/bf-gf relationship somewhere in it? Yet last I checked it was still a firm rule that pets cannot date (even if it's 100% innocent - well, more innocent than the plots >>). :P

I wonder if they changed the rule or something? >> Anyone know?

I know they -never- actually warned/froze people (to my knowledge), but they always seemed to scowl and say 'do and die'.

Maybe Nabile is the one Jazan has to meet. Her heart is kinder than Amira's.

Another part of the curse could be that Jazan's mind is being twisted. He really could be a good guy. I don't think I mentioned that in my last post but if he could just stop ordering zombies and monsters to kill and eat people, he might be a really nice guy. I bet if we can de-brainwash him he will be all sweet and stuff. After that all he would have to do is change his hair style, switch to white robes, and clear up that glowing eye problem, he and Amira would look like a really cute couple.

Edit: If he went to Nabile, he'd have to go with yellow robes to go with her purple, then die his fur to match the robes. Not to mention having Nabile's ex (Tomos) always crashing at their place. That would be so inconvienient.

I agree. I need more evidence to be certain, but I'm liking the idea that Nabile is really royal and she ran away/was banished(hence the picture of an ixi that looks very much like her in the palace).
Nabile is also sypathetic to Jazan's curse, and would be a lot more likely to fit the 'true love' part that Amira. Perhaps if Jazan and Nabile met, she could get him to stop going bonkers and sending zombies to Sahkmet. That is, unless Tomos messes things up...

:D I agree! See my post above. I think we should reverse this mirage/curse, I don't think he is evil for real.

Although, good is a relative term. Under another, non-standard definition of 'good', maybe unleashing a horde of brain-eating zombies could be considered good. If that is the case, then Amira is evil for not releasing brain-eating zombies on her people. (Keep in mind this arguement is coming from a person that supports Jhudora and all her goodness).

I don't see any brain eating zombies anywhere. I see Jazans people which were aparently transformed in appearance... and they only seem to of followed/chased the 'normal' people. Noones been killed or eaten by them. XP

That's a good point. We've all jsut assumed that the monsters are evil, but we've never actually seen any attacking people. We've only seen them walking around the streets and occasionally breaking into a home. But they never attacked anyone. The only time there was a battle was when the scarabs knocked a few out, but they attacked the monster without being attacked first. It's possible they not monsters at all- they just look like it. Like ni those kids shows where there's a big scary monster and everyone runs away from it and the monster is all sad because no one wants to play with it. Perhaps the only monsters we seen so far are jazan(?), the scorchio(did attack, or at least I think breathing fire on the people counts as attacking), and Nightsteed(maybe? hasn't attacked anyone, but was talking about "saved me the trouble of having to get rid of them" when Nabile and Tomos fell down the trapdoor).

I agree Amira seems to care nothing about her people or her role in it. How noble is that, really? Check TCG Nightsteed: "As the sun sank below the dunes, the true form of the Prince's steed was slowly revealed." Does this suggest that he is good in day and evil at night? What is "more real"?

She did however at least listen to the Scarabs and order her people to use blunt weapons to stop the zombies, so she gets some credit, still ...

EDIT: According to the prophecy (ahem!) that Nabile translated from the Qasalan Tablets in what she calls "the library" (singular?) his people were cursed as well, so I do not think it safe to assume all of them are evil naturally. I think this means the curse *made* them evil.

EDIT 2: the Kurious Kougra in Chapter 10 (Part 2/4) says, "She could end this all now, and I can return to my family!" (referring to Amira accepting Jazan's proposal). Might the Kougra be one of those cursed/trapped but somehow separated from the dimensions when the curse happened (hence "landing" on the alternate dimension of the "living good" rather than the "evil undead"? o_O

Or just made them look evil, we don't know much about them, because everyone is so afraid of them that they run away/attack without thinking that perhaps the 'monters' have feelings. I hope someone does take the time, it's never good when you don't know who's good and who's bad.

10th, Zombies!!: Okay! I can see the Qasalan zombies are not brain eaters, just regular scare-people-but-ultimately-accomplish-nothing zombies. But how do we really know there is no brain eating? We are getting a censored view of the story. We are getting only the family friendly version since that is what the state-controlled media wants us to see. We have to ask what the true story is. Although, the no brain eating is most likely true for the Jazan is really good. theory. Since I think the 'Jazan is a good guy, but brainwashed' idea would be a good ending to this whole mess, I'd like to believe the zombies are really just out on patrol and survey to take stock of their future acquisitiuon. Also, i put forth earlier that the Qasalans could return to their normal state once the curse is lifted. I hope that will be true too since it will add more to the community. If the Qasala is still lost, then the Qasalans can add to the nation's diversity and increase the amount of new goods in the LD markets. Going back to my 7th, brining in Jazan and Qasala into the trade game could make Sakhmet more open to foriegn markets which will be good for all parties involved.

PS: Thanks for making me waste my 10th. I wanted to do a write up on the army for 10th. Now i have to wait.

 Sorry to distract you from the limelight, Sky. <3

I was thinking, in all humour (last post of the nite is usually a "cracked" one :P :: maybe the zombies are just so achy and stiff form being mummified for so long, they really wish someone would give them a Chair to sit down on, instead of breaking it over their head?

Personally, I subscribe to the zombie theory by Mulder of the X-Files. We believe that after all the brain eating, all zombies want to do is dance. I'm mean, just look at the Thriller video.
