Changing mine here:

I know I'm sweet, but you don't have to eat me!

I'm really unsure about the fade =[.

A Mouthwatering Exquisity
You've had some ups and downs the last few rounds, but I really like this one! I love the use of the words "Mouthwatering" and "Exquisity"- very original! Good job. :)

.:Compact Disk:.
Perfect in the Morning *fade* Perfect in the night.
As we all know, cupcakes are perfect at all times. However, this one really doesn't fit so greatly. It doesn't describe much... just... it's borderline.

.:Requiem:.
Delectable Delight
Your subtext is very similar to Ammer's, but I'll tell you why I prefer yours- descriptive words! Good for you! However, your entry is almost a complete copy of TDG's. Huge warning for that. I like the subtext a lot this time, so I'll not vote you out, but if it happens again, I'll have to. It's about originality, not plagerism. =/

Ammer
A Chocolate Delight
See Requiem's ratings for more on this. It describes the cupcake really well, but... it's just really kind of boring. Chocolate could be substituted for so many different things that would make this subtext a lot more original. However, there is definitely potential for this one.

Anoohilator
Everybodies little Pick-me-Up
Grammar mistakes are bad. Proofread! But besides that, good work. The use of the word 'pick-me-up' is a good substitute for 'food' or 'cupcake'. A rule for subtexts- when you can substitute words, do it.

dargonz
They don't call me chocolate for muffin!
This is my favorite subtext this round. I can understand how people wouldn't get it, though, so I have to take off some credit for that. Wordplay works great in a subtext, use it well and use it often!

Divine
I know I'm sweet, but you don't have to eat me!
Kinda blah. I can see how it can possibly be slight wordplay on the word 'sweet' (sweet as in good tasting and sweet as in nice) but this one just doesn't work for me.

DM was on fire!
Devil's Food
Are you calling me a devil, woman? :P I like this one though. Devil's food is a great substitute for the word chocolate. I find it funny how this one says it's the food of a devil, whereas Khristian's says it's the food of a God. I guess I'll have to deal with being a boring, neutral mortal.

Khristian
Food of the Gods
Liking it. A bit cliche, I'll admit, but it works quite well. And no, I'm not just saying that because the sig was made for me and thusfore you're calling me a God.

matterbug
Heaven is one bite away.
I like how a lot of you are taking the godly approach on this signature. I like the subtext, it works really well. Good job, Matt.

paperfacesX022
Cupcakes pwn you
It's missing the wow effect. It's kind of predictable, which isn't what we're looking for in this competition. Try to delve deeper into the cupcake instead of just commenting on it as a whole. Try describing it instead of just using it.

pattypus
Chocolaty Goodness
Spelling error, tsktsk. It's a bit bland. I think both words could be better descriptive wise. There are millions of synonyms for chocolatey, and millions more synonyms for goodness. Try a thesaurus. :)

Stephanie
A little taste of heaven
A bit like Matterbug's, and taken from a cream cheese commercial (I think)- so I can't give you really any points for originality. The goodness of the subtext makes up for that, though. Just be careful when you're picking subtexts not to use something close to someone else's or take something from some sort of media.

the_dog_god
Delectable Desserts
Very good. Using the word 'delectable' is exactly what I mean when I say to use really descriptive words. Good job.

VeraX
The real treat is inside.
This doesn't make a lot of sense... the outside of a cupcake is really the same as the inside, unless you've planted rat poison or something in the middle in an attempt to kill your enemies. Anyway, it doesn't work a whole lot.

Wind
Eat Me
Well that's very... blunt. :P It's short, and not the most original thing you could come up with, but it works well enough. Eat is so bland, though- devour or something like that would work better.

I really want to say that I'm very proud of you guys- the majority of the subtexts this round were great! Keep up the good work and a lot of you will go very far in this competition. However I do have to vote out three of you. Sadly, those three are going to be-

.:Compact Disk:., PaperfacesX022, VeraX.

The inside of fresh out of the oven cupcakes is better than the outsides. Whats inside of the person is usually often better than whats on the outside. Not meant as an insult to anyone, just saying personality is more important than looks.

Just thought I'd say what I meant, even though I know if I had to explain it its probably not obvious.

This round, unlike the previous round, was relatively easy. Being something that most people like, as well as being visually pleasing, provided many creative ideas. To me, this round especially has shown off the creative talents of certain people.

_jade_em_-A Mouthwatering Exquisity

I looked this up in my dictionary, then Googled it, then checked Dictionary.com, and I'm almost positive Exquisity isn't a word. I know there aren't any rules against making up words, but it just sounds too awkward to really look good on this set. I think 'A mouthwatering delight', or 'An exquisite _____' would have worked so much better.

.:Compact Disk:.-Perfect in the Morning *fade* Perfect in the night.

This is an okay subtext. I think it's a tad long, but that's just because I gravitate towards short subtexts. I know what you're going for, and it's a good idea, but I think more focus on being a perfect morning would have had more impact. Still, a solid effort. :)

.:Requiem:.-Delectable Delight

Oooh, alliteration! ;) I really like this one. It's descriptive, it's short, (which scores very high with me) and it matches the image. Good job. :)

Ammer-A Chocolate Delight

I'm not as fond of this one, since it's slightly less poetic, but it does describe the picture quite well. :)

Anoohilator-Everybodies little Pick-me-Up

Not being an English major, I couldn't tell you if an apostrophe should be somewhere in the word 'Everybodies' or not, so I'll choose to ignore it. I think this is kind of an average subtext, mainly because it's so generic. You could use this to describe a cup of coffee, a piece of chocolate, a cute animal, ect., ect. It's good, of course, but it's not exclusive to the image.

dargonz-They don't call me chocolate for muffin!

Oh, my gosh. That's a horrible pun, and I love it. I smiled the first time I read it, and I've smiled every time after that I thought about it. The style of the sig could easily lend itself to a faux-humorous feel, and this is just so unique that I think it's my favorite of the whole set. :D

Divine-I know I'm sweet, but you don't have to eat me!

I know you were going for a humorous subtext, but for some reason this doesn't seem to fit as well. It's very cute, though. :)

DM was on fire!-Devil's Food

To me, the phrase 'Devil's Food' makes me think of a much darker chocolate, and I don't think the muffin or the set is really 'dark and tempting'. Maybe if this were, say, a chocolate cake with dark chocolate icing dripping down the sides.

Khristian-Food of the Gods

It's good. Whenever people say that, they're always trying to convey that the food is wonderfully delicious. It makes the reader think the muffin is really good, and looking at the picture sure made me crave a chocolate muffin.

matterbug-Heaven is one bite away.

This is a good subtext, but for some reason it just doesn't 'pop' for me. Even though it's the same idea as Khristians, this more made me think 'No muffin could be that good', rather than 'I'd love a chocolate muffin right about now'. Like I said, though, this IS a good subtext.

paperfacesX022-Cupcakes pwn you

You were going for something different than everyone else, and I commend you for that. However, I think this picture is 'Look at the delicious muffin', and not 'Cupcakes rule!'.

pattypus-Chocolaty Goodness

Yep, it's chocolaty goodness, all right. It matches the image well, and the feel of the image, but it's not quite as descriptive as I'd like. Maybe 'Taste the chocolaty goodness' or something similar. This is a rare subtext in that I'd like it to be a little longer. :P

Stephanie-A little taste of heaven

After the Philadelphia Cream Cheese discussion, I would have actually liked to see you change this. But since Robert didn't say anything about it, I'll simply judge it on its own merits. I think it is a good subtext, well-matched to the picture, and it achieves its goal of making the reader want a chocolate muffin.

the_dog_god-Delectable Desserts

Again, alliteration. ;) I like the idea, but the desserts part is actually a little boring. I know 'Delectable Delight' was already taken, but I would have liked to see something that was a little more descriptive.

VeraX-The real treat is inside.

I actually like this one, although it's a tad awkward. What I think it does is tie Dawn to the muffin. Like 'If you get to know Dawn, you'll discover all of her good, inner qualities, just like the sweetness of this muffin.' :P

Wind-Eat Me

I think it's a good subtext. It's not really what I would put, but it's not bad.

My votes go to _jade_em_, DM was on fire!, and paperfacesX022.
