It seems odd- she's supposed to be a fortune teller and know what's going to happen before it happens, yet she doesn't seems to even know that the Scroll Repository is done. One of those fortune tellers who thinks if they didn't see it in their crystal ball it can't have happened, perhaps? I dunno, she doesn't strike me as that kind of fortune teller. Then again, she's a picture and has only said I tiny bit, so I guess it'd be hard to tell.

HI, I found this in the editorals section of the neopian times. It is probably just a joke or something to throw us all off track but I'm trying to click all those spots anyway. So far nothing is happening other than a pic of Adam(?) showing up. I just thought I post this in case it actually has something to do with the plot and i'm not trying the right combination, etc.

That's nothing :)

The programmer makes a number of the games, and adds a cartoon into some of them. It's basically an 'Easter Egg', but it's not related.

Remember last week. We were just starting to move furniture. We thought it was the greatest thing in the world. Sigh! Moving furniture sounds pretty good right about now.

i just got on neopets right now for the first time today....i take it that nothing new and interesting has happened?

I doubt wee will see much this weekend. Aside from crazy theories, we're not allowed to post almost anything fun anymore. The waiting game is back on, and w/o stress relief I know I not the only one that will eventually explode.

That being said, I will now try to have some fun the only way I know how, through analyzing facts. I will try to find inconsistancies between perceived constraints and the story thus far.

1st; Comic 1, page 3, panel 1: The crate containing the scamanders is inapproptiate. There is no visible way to secure the top, leaving an ample opportunity for the scamanders to escape. Also, the slats are too wide. Given recent experience trying to catch the buggers from the Money Tree, a poorly constructed crate easily has less holding power than a clenched fist. The scamanders would easily have slithered through. Lastly, their are pain marks by Nabile's head, but her head is nowhere near the crate or flying top. No scamander is present, so she can not be hitting her head on something. The scamander making the fourth wall violation is also cause for concern, but those guys seem to know something we don't.

More come morning. Too tired to go on. You've been warned.

I think we all agree there are interesting "holes" in this plot (hehe, pun intended) especially if the Scamanders can slip through them. ;)

This forum can still be fun (in *mod*eration) but truthfully, nothing much has happened today, nor has anyone (including me) had any grand ideas.

Rest well Neopia, until another day!

Could you PLEASE tell Brucy B the war's over? He doesn't quite get it. What a stubborn Bruce. - megaman3125
Hehe, well you can't blame him for trying. Brucey B's war tent and a lot of the other outdated things on the Lost Desert map will either me moved, upgraded or just vanish once the new map goes live. It is tied into the story though so we can't change it just yet.

Wait a second. In the comic Princess Amira is ruling the lost desert. I thought that princess Vyssa was ruling the lost desert. I am confused - Conormdr203
We decided to change it as we didn't want another Usul being the main character. As its turns out Princess Amira was touring the desert when her father was murdered, Princess Vyssa was ruling in her absence, but handed the reins back over to her elder sister once she returned.

I wonder why a little guy appears when I click on the gem on Fyora's head of Fyora's cave,on the green Meepit's eye of Meepit juice break,on the bottom of the right bone of destruct-o-match 2 and on the O of snowmuncher. ~ allyson180
That must be the Phantom Orange Shirt guy. He likes to plant himself in games, most likely for some nefarious plot.

Because you have dedicated a WHOLE day to the Nightsteed is there going to be a nightsteed avatar?? OH PLEASE TNT there has to be a Nightsteed avatar. ~punk_rock_chick
Ohh, he *would* make a cool avatar, wouldn't he? Perhaps we didn't release one because we have other plans for an avatar with his likeness… *shifty eyes*

I've mapped the entirety of my Lost Desert temple, but I'm missing several door-and-symbol combinations - including the one I need for the first piece of the tablet. Is this a glitch, or is there a way to unlock all of the temple?
Everyone's tomb contains each door/symbol/colour combination that currently exists. Try going back and looking through your map carefully to make sure you didn't miss any rooms. (This message contains no clues or hints whatsoever.)

I was wondering if you were going to update the Sakhmet Palace featuring the Lost Desert Plot characters? (e.g. Princess Amira) I would like it if that happened. (At least it would be better to see something else that an old puzzle!) =) - Rubywing
Yes, in fact the whole Lost Desert map will be changing quite drastically very soon. Muahahahahaha!

Er... yes, these scrolls for the first "plot". Okay, first of all, what are these "scrolls" going to be called? Second of all, will you be able to "sell" them? Third, I don't know what price they will go for one of these "scrolls". Fourth, the other plots had their parts shown out loud. Why isn't the Lost Desert plot going to show theirs in public? Fifth, how will it go and will it include the battledome still and that supporters thing? Sixth, have you ever considered of having three sides battling each other? In the last plot, it would have been okay to do: "Captain Scarblade vs. Garin vs. Maraqua"... right? Finally, (sorry to make you read this entire message everyone!) once you read them, will they vanish? Because if you're aiming to sell them once you read them... then, it's like take one and pass it on, without losing any neopoints. I will be participating, and mine is this long because it's all over my mind. Thanks for reading, and please answer back. - Mattextra3
Wow, thats a lot of questions. Firstly the first part of the plot (the first comic) will go live next week. You will be able to see every part of the story as they go live, the same way they last two plots worked.

The scrolls are part of something special we are doing with this plot. Basically rather than just having a war to decide who gets what, there will be many puzzles, many fights and some other challenges for you to do in order to earn points. The scrolls may be used in that, just as a hint, if you see one, hold on to it. I can't tell you more than that as I have already given away a lot :) Just keep checking new features.

just thought that i'd post these quotes from the editorial, perhaps someone will find a hidden clue within them

Very intersting.

That was in a Editorial before the Gift Shop of 1,000 Trinkets was found, and may not mean anything else.

You guys have an entire thread for parody pictures and an entire thread for plot-related poetry! There's no need to act like THE MAN is getting you down just because that stuff's not allowed in this thread. ;)

grasping at straws here even though we're probably just waiting but...

has anyone tried visiting the Library Faerie and maybe doing the puzzle since there's so much about librarians and scrolls now? Maybe someone who has read all the scrolls? or not
