I wonder if the fact that one needn't have completed the tablet in order to follow the plot thus far is key to the fact that the fortune teller's statement regarding the tablet has remained. In other words, maybe her statement is directed towards those who have not yet completed the tablet, not toward people who have.
How so? One had to complete the tablet to get the prophecy to tell it to the statue to be able to access the Repository. Right?
Or was the only thing necessary to access the rep reading the scroll with the symbol from under the statue?
If it's the latter I spent two days getting my tablet completed for no reason. I thought I needed it to get to the Rep.
Actually, I believe the only thing necessary to enter the repository was to read the scroll corresponding to your statue's symbol. It had to be the last scroll you read. Of course, then you had to choose the correct phrase according to that scroll.

Yes, but it also says something like "gains a little insight" - what does that mean?
Dictionary.com defines insight as:
The capacity to discern the true nature of a situation; penetration.
The act or outcome of grasping the inward or hidden nature of things or of perceiving in an intuitive manner.
so, you gain a little bit of that.
Thank you. I do understand the definition of these words but I can see that my "what does that mean?" was open to misinterpretation, sorry. What I really meant was - exactly what "insight" are we getting from 'reading the wrong scroll'? None that I can see, so why put it there? Perhaps to mislead (although goodness knows we don't need any more of that!) or perhaps as a clue that something actually is happening?
Just a thought.
Oh, sorry.
As far as I know, nobody has been able to determine any benefit of reading any of the other scrolls.

Edit:I have certainly seen posts here from people who have accessed the repo without completing their tablet so it isn't that. Was it needed to get the passcode to the repo(?), I have no idea - I believe that the list was obtained from the code and I don't know anyone who actually got the code from the game by "legitimate" means (I don't even know how the codes should really have been obtained!), so perhaps there was something there from completing it?
The list actually comes from correlating the title of your scroll (the actual item scroll) to one of the passphrases.

Okay,
I know i'm new here but i've been trying to figure this out too. If the faerie statue wants a prophecy, could it not be the one that prince Jazan is talking about also?
Welcome to our madness!
Yes, it could be. Both could also be one and the same with the prophecy mentioned on the Qasalan Tablets TCG card. And I suppose our prophecy could be a part of that one as well.

I am just not so sure now. I mean that is Masila, and there is also mention of a heart of something at Terror Mountain, but the key to the heart is "in a tomb with strange markings" (reminds me of the Deserted Tomb at Geraptiku. And yesterday when I visited, I got a "different" message than usual. Usually I am greated by a fierce dragon. This time I saw a "treasure box" but the comment was that someone already found it.
Am I way off here, but I mentioned both the possible links to Terror Mountain and Mystery Island before, and I think someone mentioned in the original LDP, Brucey B had to find his way back the the desert via one?
http://swf.neopets.com/desert/ldp/comic ... wh3912.swf << something like that to *me* is a template, but I do not know much about it .. the other link was imbedded in the HTML source code of the CURRENT comic for no apparent reason?
What you see is a portion of the last plot, HATIC. Several splits back there is a link to that actual comic with the exact same thing on it. The only thing different is the LDP header and footer. They simply converted those and are using that comic as a template, as you suggest.
Yes, back in the day, there was a direct link to the desert through a crack or something.. if I remember correctly.
The Crystal Ball TCG card is also part of the HATIC plot.
