I tabbed thru the whole comic when looking for the symbols for the tablet and nothing more was clickable. Now when I tab thru I can only tab thru the first pages of the comics... not the second, third and fourh. this is for all the chapters. Dont know if it is my computer or what.

I thought to do the tab thing today, too, after I remember the Lupe Plains people found possible future clickies in Chapter 5.

I am able to tab through the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pages of the comics, BUT I did notice something a little unusual (or a minor oversight by TNT?) ::

When tabbing through, I notice only some of the glyphs are bordered. So far on the first page, the "paw" (Fer I believe) is not, but the pillar (Set) and cup (Lat?) are. Anyone have any ideas? Or are we all racking our brains to re-translate and say something to Nuria? o_O

EDIT: Nevermind, it finally "highlighted" just in an odd/unsuspected order?
EDIT 2: Yes it also appears on *some* Chapters I can only tab the 1st page. But for some reason, I still just think I am doing somthing wrong.

Okay,
I know i'm new here but i've been trying to figure this out too. If the faerie statue wants a prophecy, could it not be the one that prince Jazan is talking about also?

http://www.lupeplains.com/index.php?lp=ldprandom (at the bottom of page) << it appears these "potential links" (from the Chapter 5 comic) are not accessable now (the whole box, rather than 2 small spots in it highlight for me -- can anyone else confirm?)

EDIT: Bah, this is crazy, now I get the 2 small boxes again (not useful tho)

Maybe they will be when we figure out what to do next? Or someone care to code-sift? I admit I do not know what to even look for.

Whoa, too much for a bear of little brain there. As far as I understand, one could get into the Rep after reading the right scroll, and then choosing the quote that appeared. If this worked, why should there be any other way?
To get in, I followd the first post of this thread where it says what quote corresponds to my symbol. Is that what you mean by 'not legitimate'? But then that info came from somewhere didn't it...

I'm confuuuused  .

Actually, might I suggest you are *not* confused? :P Or at least, I think you are correct about that part. Seems like no matter how late people arrive to the plot, they only have to do the current/last thing to catch up, and that does seem to be the scroll in the library to get the proper quote for the repository guards?

EDIT: (While tabbing through the comic) -- Something has happened. A dragon flies past overhead, he is headed to the Mystery Island. (I wonder if there is anything plot-related there?

So does anyone care to ponder about the scene in Chapter 5 with the potential links? Should we be trying to figure out what to do next by the picture/scene and maybe we can do something to get the links active?

Okay, maybe not confused but confusing. :P I should add that I did go through the fun of completing the tablet first. Then, prophecy in hand, I went to see the fairy. Then finally I read the scroll, and went to the Repository. An option which was not there before had appeared, and according to this thread it was the right one, so I chose it and got in.

I understand that this doesn't mean I had to do all that...apparently, all I had to do was read the scroll. Right?

But I am confused as to what IanB means when he says he doesn't know what the legitimate way to get the passcode was....I thought that was the scroll.

Ahh, I see, I believe IanB meant "source code" of the web page, though I could be wrong in my assumption as well?

Well, the Haiku Generator gave me

Ornament spins loud
exacerbates, feasible
Usul turns quiet.

I thought of the spinning scroll but it's a far shot, it's most likely rubbish.

Yes I got the same Haiku; I was wondering if we all got the same daily. Well, I am still trying to think how to get those Chapter 5 links active.
Anyone? Ideas?

EDIT: Okay, I know we already found this before, but I call your attention back to http://swf.neopets.com/desert/ldp/comic ... _ld_v3.swf because it appears to be plot-realted (not just a template). Isn't that Masila? Talking about scrolls, tombs, and glyphs, thieves, and Terror Mountain, etc? Should we be pondering this at all? *echo, echo, echo* :P

The Haiku is the same for everyone, I believe. :)

Also, I don't think that comic has anything to do with the current plot and was just a placeholder for the shell. Any comic could have been used, but that page was probably easily accessible to the person working on the current plot shell, so they grabbed and used it.

I am just not so sure now. I mean that is Masila, and there is also mention of a heart of something at Terror Mountain, but the key to the heart is "in a tomb with strange markings" (reminds me of the Deserted Tomb at Geraptiku. And yesterday when I visited, I got a "different" message than usual. Usually I am greated by a fierce dragon. This time I saw a "treasure box" but the comment was that someone already found it.

Am I way off here, but I mentioned both the possible links to Terror Mountain and Mystery Island before, and I think someone mentioned in the original LDP, Brucey B had to find his way back the the desert via one?

http://swf.neopets.com/desert/ldp/comic ... wh3912.swf << something like that to *me* is a template, but I do not know much about it .. the other link was imbedded in the HTML source code of the CURRENT comic for no apparent reason?

Good afternoon everyone!

I think we should compile a list of places in the comic that will appear to have something clickable in the future.

Here's my list:

(numbers are in Chapter-Page-Panel)

Scarab Tatoo locations:

1-2-3 Nabile's arm (very light), Tomos' arm
1-2-4 Nabile's arm
1-2-5 Horace's arm
3-4-5 Tomos' arm
4-3-1 Tomos' arm
4-4-3 Tomos' arm
5-1-3 cybunny's arm, krawk's arm (just barely visible)
6-1-1 Tomos' arm
6-4-1 Tomos' arm
7-2-2 Tomos' arm
8-3-4 techo's arm
8-3-6 Tomos' arm
8-4-4 Tomos' arm
9-3-2 techo's arm
9-3-3 techo's arm
9-3-5 Horace's arm
9-3-6 Horace's arm
9-4-1 Horace's arm

I think it's important to mention that there are several places where a scarab should have shown up on an arm, but didn't. I'm curious to know if they will show up there in the future.

Scamanders:

1-3-1 Multiple (7 in total)
4-1-2 On table

Those odd clouds with the possible letters/numbers:

5-4-4

............ is there a thread for the previous plot?

I admit I was bored so I went looking for some clue about the Fortune Teller. I decided to check TCG Cards. The Crystal Ball card mentions Masila. Ok, I may really be going off on tangents now, or perhaps it is from the first LDP (or perhaps the v3) suggests it is for the 3rd LDP?) :o

But comparing the two different types of links (the latter of which there is only 1 of) embedded in the same source code (of the current comic), I still wonder:

http://swf.neopets.com/desert/ldp/comic ... wh3912.swf

http://swf.neopets.com/desert/ldp/comic ... _ld_v3.swf

EDIT: Elric, do you mean you were able to tab and highlight all of those?

I'm pretty sure that when this came up in discussion before it was said to be part of the Hannanh Plot, nothing more than that, it shouldn't be used as a reference for the current plot as it is only a shell for the comic.

Also, on the Geraptiku thing, I've received three different messages from ging into the temple, so it's just rendom what happens to you while you're in there.
