Let's take guesses. What do you think was the most pieces of furniture placed by one player?

Not that it's super meaningful since a player can place 200 scroll racks in the time it takes to place 50 tables!

Either way, I'm guessing there are people out there in the 500 range.

500 seems like a good guess. I haven't been counting, but I think I'm pushing 300. I haven't been doing as much today and yesterday, though, and if I had I think I'd be near 500.

Edit: Ed the ID moved. :(

Edit again: Thanks jojoneo! ↓

Either 2 things...

you either placed the furniture on the wrong spot. You might've forgotten what you were carrying... I did that once.

OR

You inadvertantly placed it on the wrong floor

Thanks jojo :) I think I was on the wrong floor, got it figured out now(I think, I hope) :)

Okay, if this is asking too much, I apologize humbly, but as a woman (with no sense of direction) I must ask if someone might also post some nearby landmark or the IDs location in relation to some well-known landmark, as some have done before?

Such as "above and to the left of the stairs up" or "on the path on your way to the basement" or something along those lines?

Pardon my mental block to even be able to count on a grid (to this day I am handicapped at chess because of it).

:"> Thanks to anyone who cares to admit to similar issues, and double thanks to anyone that cares to helpfully post such information.

And thanks to you all anyway, this is such a great forum. :)

As you head towards the basement, there will be a spot that looks like this:
Code:
 _______
|  ______    <-- those are passageways
| |_____
|  _____
| |  ______
| |_|      |
|    (room)

Go in the bottom passageway, he's to your right.

(Edited to make a better picture)

omg thank you, and thanks also to the person who drew the ASCII map, tho unfortunately with my faulty wiring, it made about as much sense as the map (only on a smaller scale, like me trying to guess the Secret Image in all my futile efforts) .. i do tend to look at a general overall map first, then dig right in and just click click click and memorize that somehow .. the instructions above are most helpful to someone like me..

again uber-thanks!

Try areas that are farther away from the ID. Such as the top left area of the map.

Okay I know I am pushing it here, but I also know there are people out there that actually do enjoy mapping things.

Perhaps someone would volunteer to make a map (easily reviseable, since based on ones already made and in First Post) and simply place a different colored dot or an X where the ID is at any given time, when updated? (Though I was better able to find the ID with verbal instructions.)

Come on now, I know someone wants to. ;)

But if not, thanks again to all and somehow, as tedious as this is, it is nice to know I am not alone and we are all experiencing similar frustrations as well as joys. :)

lol, I could, but I'm often not online to update it all the time. ^^; and I don't know how to make those things which can have anyone update it.
