The foreman storms over to you in a fury. "You're not supposed to be putting furniture on this floor! What is this, your first day on the project?! Go outside and don't come back until you've learned to follow instructions!" He grabs your furniture away from you and hands it to someone else.

Gah. I accidently clicked on something on the 2nd level while moving up to the 3rd, and he kicked me out :(

Gone, forever.

They must have turned down the frequency of RE's in the repository, as well. I had figured I would have had a billion of them by now ... but I have only had a single one (and it was one where an item of mine was stolen).

BAH. :)

Does anyone else get the feeling that we're not really doing anything? We take forever carrying endless streams of furniture in that a minute later is stolen. And we can't even win items from it like the other times. I think its just something TNT did to give everybody something to do with the plot while they think up something that'll actually get it somewhere.

Interesting that it took so long for them to make that bit of furniture. Now if we have all placed as many as we have, we have definately moved all of that furniture. I know they are still building, but they must be building a lot faster now...maybe they have discovered lasers or someting!!*lol*

You people must have infinite patience. I have placed two pieces of furniture and I have already given up. I hate the scroll sepository! At least when we were moving blocks we got to see eachothers pets and had a chance to win a prize. This just seems like pointless busy work.

Well I've been operating under the assumption that we are earning points for every piece of furniture that we move.

This is from the editorial two weeks ago:

Question: ... I'd like to know how long the LDP can go on; are there going to be parts where it's advantageous to be amongst the first to do something, and in particular will there be a prize at the end that there is a race to get?

Answer: we'll say that we are keeping track of every piece of the puzzle each person completes. There are certain stages where completing things first will earn you more points than someone who completed it much later, but in general, the more of the puzzle you complete as a whole, the greater the reward will be at the end.

If we are earning points for furniture then we probably earned them for moving blocks and sand as well. I was only able to move one block (stupid Ben symbol), and just seven handfuls of sand. (Stupid real life getting in the way of me spending 24 hours a day on Neo.) So I feel like I need to move a lot of furniture if I want to catch up.

I think everyone should place one more piece of furniture and sit on it!! (only half kidding) It would seem prohibitively difficult for the so far anonymous thieves to swipe anything with someone parked on top of it. I hope there's some tangible reward for this stage,it's making my brain hurt!!

I'm operating under the same assumption. If TNT is actually tracking each stage of the puzzle ... they would track how many pieces of furniture I moved. :)

Let's hope. *smile*

I was also thinking ... in "wars" ... this same sort of thing happens ...

fight the same monster ... start over ... fight the same monster ... start over ... those stages have the same sort of "endlessness" to it.

Furniture moving is the same sort of thing ... just have to keep doing it over and over. :)

Part of the reason I hate the SR so much now. Extremely boring waste of time, but I feel like if I don't move furniture, I'm missing out on points at the end :(

i never got to do any block-moving or furniture-making. did you guys get REs and other such rewards for that? if it is similar to this, i am not sure what difference it makes how many we actually place (I mean a few or more per person is reasonable and even more exceptional, but don't kill yourself over it) .. after the weekend hopefully there will be more information .. what about the scarabs in the temple? (water trap, presumably?) .. will we still (or do we still) have to do something there?

When moving blocks ... there were SUPER rewards. People were winning Lost Desert Paint Brushes. (I had a 1 in 5 chance of winning one ... I lost the dice roll, though).

Not every prize was a paintbrush ... but they were still all pretty nice prizes.

Yup ... you have to walk back to the exit to get another piece of furniture.

Just finished my 100th piece. Yay! :)
