How do you "clean" a space?

And did someone explain what the reward is for placing furniture? is it somehow proportional to the rarity of spaces for each piece?

do other people see the Interior Berator on the fourth floor? I'm up here, and I don't see him anyplace.

He's probably running the theif ring. When a floor is full of furniture, he directs all the pets to all the other floors so the theives can steal all the stuff without being interrupted.

he was just way up in the top corner of the fourth floor a few minutes ago. row 2, column 9, watch your url as you move around.

random suggestion

Someone that doesn't even play the game suggested that if somehow pets can find and locate the ID, in an ideal area of course, they might be able to prevent him from moving by putting furniture all around him?

But I imagine neopets probably randomly generates the next move of the ID? :|

I believe the ID's location is randomly generated. And it's not possible to surround the ID with furniture since the ID is usually surrounded by empty spaces.

Aha, got him! thanks, guys.

Think It would be possible to edit the maps, with letters on it to indicate where each piece goes.. Like:

R for Rack
L for Lamp
T for Table and
B for bench

That would help a lot..

Just to help all of you out who can't find solid spots for whatever piece of furniture they're carrying, here's how I'm able to do it quite fast time after time:

First of all, I get my piece of furniture, I see the ID, go to the floor he points me to, and then, in stead of searching a solid spot, placing the furniture and trying to clear some blurry spots, I just look for blurry spots and try clearing them... Most of the times, the first or second one I try is already a good one, so it's perfectly possible to clear a spot for yourself in stead of having to wait for someone else to do it for you :P

furniture

I've got to come and go often on the site because of such futile prequisite such as sleeping, eating and taking some time with my daughter. However I seem to notice that the percentage of furniture that isn't stolen is greater than what it used to be.

Anybody else noticed that?

Yay I found it! I found the Statue. it was hidden behind a silver triangle with that cross symbol.

Here is what it looks like:

Now what do I do?

See, I don't think we're 'clearing' them at all. I think there are just so many of them, that when you click on any given blurry spot, sometimes it just happens to change back as you're doing it.

I haven't successfully cleared one on purpose yet, but I see them switching back and forth as I wander by all the time.

Well I just came back from work and started moving pieces, 2 yet..

To me, this furniture moving will take all the week end and the "thieves" are just another way to make it last longer..

so you think it get "faster"? I say its because more and more people are joining.. The more people, the more thieves!

hmm has the lockout time increased?

Ive been locked out for 90 minutes after trying to put furniture on the wrong floor, before that Id placed 10 pieces without a problem now Im being told not to put it there and was locked out.

It happened earlier and it was for about 30 mins... now its got to 90. hmmm

I think I was only lucky twice in 'clearing'
So we probably can't even clear them, it's just luck that we happened to step onto a space that got regnerated.
