Salt does act as a preseving agent and with the amount of salt they put on those things, I'm not surprised.

have you all heard of the woman who made a counter-documentary? she ate mcdonalds every day, too, but she never got the big macs. she got things like salads, the small burger that they have, and their other less-fatty fare, and she actually lost weight.

now, i hate mcdonalds as much as the next hippie, but you have to admit that everything is relative.

Well, after reading Fast Food Nation two years ago, I stopped eating fast food, save for Quizno's and Subway (and one time of eating at A&W, because there were no other eateries around where I was).

As interesting as Supersize Me sounds, it did gross out my sister with all the visuals. If I'm given the opportunity, sure, I'll go watch it, but for now I won't be going out of my way to do so.

We watched it in P.E. a while back. It made me not eat at McDonalds anymore (well except for the milkshakes every so often). I even convinced my family to stop buying food from there. :P

From what I heard, this film was basically saying if you ate too much fast food, you'd develop similar symptons to the man testing the food on himself. It's dead obvious to anyone that eating fast food for about a month can almost kill you and it was made to stop people from eating too much. McDonalds I believe was chosen because it was the largest fast food company and one of the most popular ones at that.

I'll still eat McDonalds after I see it (And I really want to see this movie).

Watched it in summer school. Then at break that day, this guy bought Burger King and gave me some. I like fast food, but I don't eat it that often. When I do, I kind of avoid BK because I don't like it as much as, say, Taco Bell. I love McD's fries. No chicken nuggets for me though. Never liked them. XP

I saw it and then drove myself to McDonalds 10 minutes after it was over.

I don't need a movie to tell me fast food is unhealthy for you, but if you only eat it once in a while, I think its fine.

yeah
