I guess at this point there is nothing better to do than speculate and carry sand. I think that about sums it up. :(

I like pie.

How fast we got to the 3rd phrase...only a few more hours till it should be uncovered. You can see the base from here.

I really wish TNT would do something on weekends. They used to even put news out even if it was only a tiny bit and now its down to nothing.

Yeah. I figured at this point not much is happening... it doesn't hurt to hazzard guesses and just lug the sand about.

Really, the whole thing on whether the carrying sand is related to how uncovered the Repository is reminds me of the argument of whether the Earth or the Sun is in the center. I remember the famous statement along the lines of "If the Earth moved around the Sun, instead of the Sun moving around the Earth, I wonder how different the sunrise would look." (the point being it looks exactly the same).

Not the exact quote, I think, but close enough to maintain its point. :)

They do do something. They catch up on work so that we do get the amount of stuff we get on the week days.

Why? Knowledge is power, man.

OKay, I think I should rephrase that. If you want to know what suppository is , don't ask anybody that you still want to talk to sometime in the future.

It's medicine man, medicine :)

Yes, but it is... special medicine.
And for anyone who looks in the dictionary for suppository, it is not a good idea to show off your new knowledge.

And regarding the idea that we could do nothing and the REPOSITORY would be uncovered, there are workers there. They aren't going to be relying on people to sneak in and dig.

"You carry a handful of sand away from the scroll repository.

While excavating the handful of sand, you also found something else!

Lost Desert Paint Brush

Wow, they sure built the repository way out in the middle of nowhere!
It's going to take you a while to carry the sand back to civilization."

The rumors are true. I'll put a screenie of this in the screenshot page.

I meant as far as new things. I know they plan for the next week. I was just saying that they dont do anything new on the weekends like they used to.

I never made, nor implied, the suggestion to wait. All I said was that chances are gathering the sand had no real relationship to uncovering the Repository.

That doesn't mean collecting the sand doesn't have some meaning besides a delay tactic.

I know we are only speculating, and I know you didn't say not to dig, I am just commenting on the idea that a lot of people now think it is a timed event.

My point was either we are infact digging out the repository and it is getting "hits" ( which is my opinion) or it is a timed event.

If it was a timed event, then no-one would have to dig.

I don't think the actual piles of sand are worth anything, but how many times you have visited the Repository will be a factor.

I mean wouldn't we feel ripped off, if we visited the Repository, clicked a button and that was it, nothing to show what we have done. The plot needs visuals otherwise we would just be clicking on buttons and be bored out of our minds.

In context, why would digging be a "delay tactic"? It is just part of the plot. We found the Temple and had to work through it. We found the Repository and now we are working through that.

Why would TNT take all the time and effort to make these puzzles if there was no point in them?

These are my opinions and not a direct attack on anyone elses opinions or theories. :)

I think that the neither amount you dig nor the amount of sand you get has nothing to do with anything except the overall progress of the repository. When it is done, everyone can reap the benefits equally.

However, as you saw in my last post, you can win things such as Lost Desert Paintbrushes while digging, making THAT the prize and the reason to keep digging.

(And yes, I'm lucky. I've only dug a dozen or so times.)

I still think it sounds uncomfortable. I hope, at least, the scroll is small if they're gonna make one. ;)

I suppose it would make smuggling scrolls...um... easier? If it's easy to run scrolls with one of those. :P

Okay, I'd better stop on this line of thought. It can only get worse. ;)
