Okay, I am pretty sure that I know what this,
http://swf.neopets.com/desert/ldp/comic_book/comic_book_shell_ld_v3.swf
is for. The actual comic pages have no footer. It seems like they built only one page with the LD footer. It seems like the code tells it to use the footer from that modified HatIC comic.

See, the actual LD comic pages doen't have a footer.
http://swf.neopets.com/desert/ldp/comic_book/pages/book5_page0_v1_cjwh3912.swf
http://swf.neopets.com/desert/ldp/comic_book/pages/book5_page1_v1_cjwh3912.swf
http://swf.neopets.com/desert/ldp/comic_book/pages/book5_page2_v1_cjwh3912.swf
http://swf.neopets.com/desert/ldp/comic_book/pages/book5_page3_v1_cjwh3912.swf
I sort of seems like they only wanted to make one page with a footer, rather then hastle with attaching it to every page.

But I would still investigate Terror Mt. as this isn't the only refference to them that our speculators have found.

EDIT:typos

That's not new. It's from the Hannah plot. Also, notice my last post before the split, I need some thoughts on that :D

Hi - First post... It's proably nothing (ie part of an old plot), but I went and looked at the source for the Ice Caves, the following sentence was there:

!--Years ago, an earthquake that rocked the Ice Caves has left a massive split in its centre.
The dark crevasse seems to lead into some sort of tunnel leading down into the blackness...-->

I'm currently stuck because I foolishly fished prior to getting the last clue - arrrgggghhhh. I'm hoping it'll only be another hour or two before I can move on. Arghh...

If you don't mind the process, you can adopt a pet... take it fishing (get the info) and the return it to the pound. If you haven't done this before, you also get an Avi.

Two possibilities: 1, it is a clue. 2, they needed a set number of villian cards for the expansion, they didn't have a snowager card, they made a snowager card.
Long story short, either TNT is messing with us or marketing is messing with us.

here's a bit of speculation for you all to ponder:

al that's left in the lost desert is swarm, scarab 21, sutek's tomb, pyramids, and coltzan's shrine. what do all five of these have in common?

scarabs.

swarm is all about scarab-looking bugs, scarab 21 has scarab right in its name, both sutek's tomb and pyramids have scarab images, and in coltzan's neopedia entry, it says that scarab 21 is one of his hobbies.

i don't know if it means anything, but i thought i'd point it out.

I'm really disappointed. I thought it being the weekend Neopets would have released more of the puzzles, like they did last week.

Anyhows I'm off to bed. Hopefully they'll realise something tomorrow. I'm fed up with just twiddling my thumbs.

Good night everyone.

Blame it on the boogie!

That's it unless you want to read all your scrolls for something to do. It doesn't do anything now but no one knows if it could in the future.

I like pie.

Wow, I'd say this is pretty good thinking, sonce I'm sure that the scarab thing was not meant to be a dead end, just a confusing clue

Something to look at, but also -
1) They weren't part of the city.
2) They're games... if I were Neopets I would try to limit the amount of games and dailies I took away.

Wouldn't be something I would look too far into, but strange altogether :)
