I read a scroll around 2 hours ago and am still locked out. My guess would be that it's still the 12 hours.

If you look at the accompanying text with each of the three scrolls that have so far been found in Random Events they match with places we had to go to find the parchments! Ie:
Desert Tent Zoning Regulations
Here you can look ages into the past
- Pyramids
Decorating w/ Sand
Here you might never be heard from again.
- Fetch
Edible Desert Foliage
Here you can take a cool drink.
- Wishing Well

I've been looking at a few other people's maps, and noticed that their rooms didn't seem to form very long series - six at most. I have a series of 15 and another of 11. (I'm using series to mean rooms connected to each other by right/left arrows.)
For those who have done maps - what's your biggest series?

Edit: Zega, use the column on the parchment that corresponds to the number that the parchment is. This is your first one, so use the column with one dot.
