thank you. that one should be easy. its the waiting for the temple to open up that is the hardest part.

The first parchment only corresponds to your first door. The one-dot door is the only one you need to worry about.

When you get your second parchment, that's for your second door, and you use the one with two dots, etc.

if it is your first parchment, go to the door with the one dot. then forget about the parchment. get the second parchment and go to the door with the 2 dots. etc

All right. And I thought mapping out my tomb would be the hardest part. Thanks for your help. I'm sure I'll come back with more stupid questions, lol.

Up until #8, I thought each piece corresponded to the twelve different pieces. Then 8 was the same symbol as 5.

Wow I come back online (since Friday evening) and find that the plot thread has gone from #4 to #13 and that the tablets are released Just my luck, especially since I was playing pyramids a bunch that day and stopped only a few hours before the 1st parchment was released. But now I've finally read through all the threads (remind me to never do that again lol) and have got up to the fishing parchment which I'm stuck at since I fished before I found out that you get a parchment there and now have to wait until my pets realize that they can catch something again . At least I already found my Nuria statue and read the scroll my pet understands. I will catch up...hopefully...

And I haven't noticed in particular pattern in how they are refilling the holes either. *sigh*

I just joined this thing so I could help out here since I still have one week 'til class starts.

I have a couple working theories about this 'puzzle'. It seems too easy to be true. The riddle and library are the only hard parts. The whole tablet and temple bit is super easy. That could have been put up just so that we go through a million pages and give the sponsors a million views. Sure it is all connected, but it still costs money to run the site. (It is still the funnest puzzle I've run into on the site since I joined).

Second, the ease of the tablet and the games we play may just be to help tell players that these games are out there. Sure many of us go to them all the time, but some of the newer players may not know they are there. It is a great way to introduce players to the site and show people the ropes.

Third, there has to be something after all of this. If the TCG cards are any clue, there is easily another war coming. The temple is a great sidequest to help promote everything that will follow and will probably help in the wat some how. I just hope they have a support role like last time.

Phew! That was a lot to get off the chest.

Finally got my 8th piece and am now waiting for clue #9 to come out. I may wait the rest of my hour and go read a scroll so I will have 9 out of the way then start again in the morning before work. I can play at work at least. Hmm its nice being the boss LOL Just wish I had broadband there instead of dial up.

I think you're absolutely right - there has to be something else to take up the time. We're still only on the third comic, after all.
