...at the new Royal Lupes? I mean, the female version is okay, but why didn't they make the blasted male version like the card in the pyramids/solitare games?! They royal Kougra (male) looks like it same with the royal Aisha. True, they remade the cards after these two royals were introduced but STILL! Shouldn't they stick with one design? What was wrong with the King of Spades Lupe? Is it too villainous looking to be an official Royal color?

I guess it's because of that blasted question that was asked in this weeks Neopian times but whatever the reason, I think we can all agree that the Royal Lupe (Male), just sucks, completely. I mean, I wouldn't want to paint my BlueFangRadi with this PB. Good thing I didn't buy it yet. X_x It's completely hideous, the color isn't the best choice, and I don't know about you but I wouldn't want that as the king of any kingdom I'm in. I want a strong/powerful looking leader. Not an old man from a retirement home.

Reason why I say the Blue is a bad choice, is because Blue is FAR too common with lupes. The Halloween Lupe has blue shorts, the Mutant Lupe is blue, the Faerie Lupe is blue and the Tyrannian Lupe is blue... Am I the only one who's just sick of blue? But I know all of you have different minds and different opinions so why don't I just just post the pics and you can judge for yourself, alright?

I think they're fine, I actually like the fact that the actual Lupe looks older, gives him a wise regal type look. I think blue is a very regal colour too, I always think of blue, red and purple when I think of Royal. In my opinion, its all good!

Actually, I think the male is okay.

But the girl one is terrible x.X It's like they stuffed a fox into a ball gown. Her eyes look evil! (And not the fun kind of evil.)

I agree that the girl looks more like a fox than a wolf, which is what I always thought a Lupe was meant to characterise.

I really don't like the male version. The poses are just...off. You know, like somebody left them in the sun too long.

I don't like how skinny they are, they're wolves/large dogs for crying out loud. You won't find many skinny wolves

It's anthro, It doesn't really depend that much on the characteristics of a real Wolf. I like the girl but the male just seems a bit goofy. If they wanted him to look like this then they should of made him more wise looking

Well look at the card lupe... He's big and bad! I like that type of ruler. I don't like how "happily influenced" they made the old man, look and I still hate the blue. The female as I said, is FINE. So what if she looks somewhat foxish. At least she's not another old crone and foxes ARE members of the K-9 family. If she looked more like a cat, then I'd complain. I agree with yag though. If they're going to have an old man for a king, make him look wise/strong. Don't make him look like they got him from a retirement home and senial to boot!


Finally, someone with the same taste as I! The girl is freaking gorgeous. If BlueFang was a girl, I'd paint him that color. Unlike all the other royals, that is not a ditzy looking princess! That is a QUEEN.

I'm sorry... what? Shiney?! Not to be rude but to inform, those lupes aren't "shiney" they're Shaded... This and that are shiney Neo's.

I said this is unrelease thread. I love royal boy because of the fact, it's my pet.
My pet was born a lupe is is one of the oldest active neopets on the site, he's over 2000 days old now. I respect/love royal boy lupe cause I see my pet as it, but because of a promise I made, I can't paint my pet royalboy lupe. Plus the fact, I'm still hurting from darigan PB spend.

But yeah, old lupe, that looks like he should retire...that's my pet. Old and battle ridden.

I don't like royalgirl lupe. She's more anthro feeling then male. I'm happy that she's not wearing shoes and shows her paws/feet. I'll give kudos to that.

I wasn't attach to the card version since I rarely saw it, plus, I only care for Jack of Spades Zomutt. =P

Only downside of royalboy is his tail is gone, add his taila nd I'll roll over and play dead...heck, I'll fetch to have it then. Ok, I'll fetch, but I can't have it.

Maybe you should write in to Neo and ask if they can make an "Oldies Brush". Seeing as they have Baby, I don't see why they can't.

Oldie pet paint brush...if it was made, it would have to be cool. If Royalboy Lupe was how old they got, sure, it would be nice, but really old neopets would be kinda...creepy. Namly the toothless grinning happy pose.

Liek I said, royalgirl feels more anthro to me. I can't really say why, but it might be because of the dress. Royal boy makes me thing anthro, but royalgirl...I just seem her more anthro. hard to explain. I just have a different view to her then you, I suppose. *shrugs*

Still, I'm very fond of royalboy Lupe. The art on it isn't crappy, it doesn't have horrid battledome poses like Royalboy eyrie. Royalboy lupe has a much better taste in mixing color then royalboy Eyrie. Royalboy Lupe isn't standing on stright legs like Ixi and the poses are more livly then Ixi. Royal moehog, boy and girl...ugh. Lupes came out good when compared to other royal species, IMO.
