It's official, Australians are getting the Neopets Happy Meal on the 23rd of September this year. I've been checking the McDonald's site for a couple of months now since someone told me through email that it might happen "sometime in September".

Yay! More Neopet plushies, including the Pink Poogle!

The only thing that isn't mentioned is the redeemable codes - somehow I think we may have missed out on those. Ah well, at least I can add to my wall of plushies with more absolutely-too-adorable-for-their-own-good Neopets!

Lol, I've been checking it for months as well! I noticed it a week ago, but wasn't sure whether to announce it or not

It's awesome though, I can't wait! Really hoping for that pink poogle ;)

Are some of the toys the same species as last time? Or are they all new ones?

Why can't they get sponserred by an Indian Restaurant or a Kebab joint instead? I don't wanna go to McDonalds if it ever comes here...

You don't have to buy McDs here if you don't want to - the toys are AUS$2 each, and it's not required to actually have their food. A lovely little law that we have down here in South Australia, apparently. Means I can just walk up to the one in our closest shopping center and buy the toys without having to eat the food. ^^

Ledi, as it's the same with Macca's in NSW and Qld, I would presume to say it's the same all over Australia :)

edit: yeah here we tend to call it Macca's rather than McD's

The best I've found over her in wet and rainy Leeds is petpet interactive toys with a rare item code. They started selling them in a shop called Home Bargains at the end of my street. They sell for £3.99.

I got a Babaa one, but just gave it to a friend at work as a leaving present.

I don't know about that! Australia is pretty big and I have seen tons of people from there. So I wouldnt jump to conclusions.

I have my doubts the Aussies have more subscribers than us English. This is quite unfair IMHO
:(

The Shoyrus will prevail! Especially blue ones!

Both the UK and Australia have over a million neopets users. I'm glad the Aussies are finally getting their McDs toys. It would be nice if neopets would deign to give the UK any kind of merchandise, particularly seeing as the creators came from here.

But oh no, they don't want me to spend my money on the latest tcg cards or plushie toys, nope. Suits me

The aussies already had the toys about the same time last year. i got a heap of the toys as christmas pressies from my brother. So they're not finally getting toys, they've had them before.

Hey, Adam, if you're reading, how about Wales only asparagus plushies? ;)

Then again, we'll have people complaining because they tried eating the plushies before realising they aren't edible  They always find something to complain about. OMG MY PET DIED CAN U REPLACE IT IT WAZ A RAINBOW PTERI!!111
