Gaining Intelligence

Wed Jun 08, 2005 10:26 pm

When I'm trying to raise the intelligence of my pet, does it matter what books I read to it?

Nope. It's the number of books you read it that matters. Sometimes your pet will refuse to read a book, though.

Wheel of Knowledge can increase intelligence I think...

It can also decrease it though [more certain about this]

Coltzan raises intelligence ALOT. Even on high level pets.

Also, If your pet won't read the book, change your language, then read it, then change languages back.

Pick a Card will also increase Intelligence on occasion. Don't forget the classics.

All books raise only 1 intel point, right?

What about neggs, are there neggs that raise intel?

Edit: I found that Genius Negg and Witchy Negg both do, but I'm not sure if there's others.

Just don't eat the Beauty Negg(or something along those lines) you lose intelligence and gain a grooming item, the cost of intelligence is materialistic items, yay.

intelligent is useless in neopets right?

Not really, I believe there is a battledome item that works so much better when your pet has intelligence of over 1000. Uh, one of the tunics I believe.

Another tunic requires 200 movement and 100 intelligence. I think there are some others as well.
