I know this sure have been asked A LOT of times... but wel..

My friend is on like a camp for a week and I got her password so I could take care of her neopets, feed them, play with them etc.

What may I do what may I NOT do on her account?

I always pick up both the jelly and omlette on mine account Anicow, but is it then illegal to pick them up at hers to?

My suggestion would be to not log onto her account at all. Her pets will be fine when she returns and there is no need to risk TNT thinking you are using multiple accounts to gain items or np.

I think so, since they're considered freebies, and you can't do freebies on accounts other than your main.

EDIT: Yeah, I agree with Rage, I think the safest thing would be to not log on at all.

My friend wanted me to remember his password and get his dailies and stuff...
But I only did it once because I was too scared of getting frozen.
But I know his password because he always forgets it.

Yes, I think not logging into that account is the best thing to do.
And Neopets don't seriously need to be cared for; they never 'die'. The worst that could happen would be for their hunger status to be "dying", but nothing will happen to them at all while your friend is gone.

I'm not saying it's wrong, but that doesn't mean they couldn't freeze you for it. And really, there is nood need to feed pets when you're away because they'll still be there when you return. If you want to do it that is perfectly fine, I'm just saying that it's safer for both of your accounts to not do it at all, especially since it's not necessary.

If im looking after someone elses account and they want me to do freebies, Ill do the freebies on their account but not on mine. I wont play games on both accounts either.

You don't even have to log into their account everyday to feed the pets. Put the pets into the NeoLodge for the time they are gone. It's only 5 np a day and you pay all at once for the amount of time you want to use. The pets are feed and played with and everyone is happy.

That's what I did when I had my firewall, that way my pets aren't sad. I forgot why I made sure they weren't sad. o.o

There is a random event where if your pet is sad, it will turn your pet blue. Could that be why?



As far as I've heard, it doesn't matter what level of hotel you put them at. I always use the Neolodge and place my pets in the cheapest one and they are just as happy as clams. lol

I would never log into their account, because I got frozen because I had let a friend transfer a pet for me and then one day I and every account that my friend had ever logged into were frozen for using multiple accounts. Wasnt true, but TNT just assumes too much...

Tonu, do you mean that someone else logged into your account or were you both on the account at the same time? (which I do not understand for one second - how 2 people can be logged into the same account at the same time though I know it's been done).

Was it that your friend has a really fast computer and was being nice, trying to help people transfer their pets to other accounts they had?

Was your friend also trying to help friends out by logging in to do dailies/care for pets for other friends when they had to be away?. It may just be that too many accounts were seen being accessed by your friend's IP. I'm almost surprised the reason for their freezing wasn't scamming instead of multi. That's why I ask if your friend was taking care of accounts (interest, dailies, etc.) for other people.

Plus, if you're logging onto someone else's account, you're logging on (unless you use the same computer) on a different IP - I think that can raise a red flag: like somewhere in the system it thinks because it's reading a different IP logging in that the account has been stolen. And then there's the standard what you're doing is technically considered neositting which is very, very against the rules.

Tell your friend, if she hasn't left already, to just put her pets in the lodge. If she has left and you really feel it's necessary to do something, then take the advice of others - just log in, put the pets in the lodge and log out. Don't do any dailies, not even food, don't get her bank interest, etc

I would never, ever log into someone else's account, period. I mean, my best real life friend who I've known for over 20 years uses my computer to play Neopets or whatever else she wants to do. She logs into my computer separately, has her own email, etc. I do NOT know any of her passwords to anything and she does not know mine. If a time comes when, say, I have to go into the hospital then I would consider letting her know my password so she could put my pets in the lodge, but even then it would make us both very uneasy. I guess we're just privacy fanatics.
