Lets say someone is lending out a Chokato (TCG) Card for 95K.Is it against the rules to buy it from him for 95K and then resell it for 99K, or more?My friend does this a lot, and makes A LOT of NP doing it.Is it against the rules?

If the person is just LENDING the item, then it is only right to return the item to the person after use, but if he's selling, then it's ok, its a free market, u can sell it at any price u want ;)

When you see an item for a cheap price, then buy it, then sell it off for less, is that against the rules? No! :D Thats how many people make their profits!

It's not a very nice thing to do is it? The person is just lending the item and your friend actually sells off the item...

Wait- you're selling it back to the same person for more than they used as collateral? That's just cruel.

not nice, but legal

See, this is why TNT comes down on people lending/borrowing. It seems 9 times out of 10, someone gets or at least feels like they've been scammed.

If you use the TP to bid "collateral" on an avatar item that is being lent, then once you get the av you should contact the person, and put that item back on the tp. Of course, there's always a change that the person who originally "lent" will offer less than your collateral (that "tip" or "fee" some people ask for - which IS totally against the rules). Then there are the people like your friend who "borrows", then keeps the item and sells it themselves, cheating the original person out of an item and/or the true worth of the item.

Technically, if you're using the tp, no one can complain about anything or report anyone for anything. But ethically, if you know you're only supposed to be borrowing you should at least attempt to trade the item back for your full np/item collateral and not just take the item and run.
