I say it like: Lew-tar(as in street tar)-ee. But sometimes I end it with a long a sound rather than a long e sound

Lutra = Loo-tra
Lutari = loo-tar-ee
Or so it should be. I don't know the fancy explanation for it, just how to say it. *Shrugs* It's a cool word.

And I think the reason thats a lutari ball, is because it's just fun! And otters like fun and thats essentially what Lutari are!
I think it suits.
It's no weirder then other pet species toys... I seem to recall gelerts having bells or balls or something.

Now, about lutari pronounciation... its really a matter of which syllable you are emphasizing.

for example.

think of the word underwear.
usually, we say is UNderwear. think... when you read the word UNderwear, it doesnt sound wierd. but if i type unDERwear, you never ever prounounce it like that... because we emphasize the UN part.

With chombys, we emphasize the "chom".... we say CHOMbee.... if was said, chomBEE.... it sounds more like an african word or something.. chambi or something....

so, where are you emphasizing?
