Vegeta becomes a good guy and teams up with Goku to defeat Frieza, or Kass...
The episodes go slow, and so does the developement of neoschools
Millions of possiblities.
My point exactly. There are many shows/movies which have that theme.
The ring/orb is the central point of the NP/LOTR stories, and both have a medieval theme. The ring and the orb alike have the ability to corrupt, and both have massive amounts of power. Do you know of any other cartoons/movies/shows that have either of these two factors?
I'll give you the Medieval theme however I remember when I used to watch a show called 'Recess' there was a similar theme in an episode. It was a little Medieval but the story was a nice kid named Gus was King for a Day (The Medieval part would be the King for a Day). He was all nice at first and than with the power of being king and his duties he became power hungry. He ended up abusing his powers. Therefore being king corrupted him and obviously he had alot powers over the playground. The King is the central point of the playground when it comes to creating rules, judging etc...
But I think you see my point. I gave you another cartoon which even had a Medieval touch to it. They're other cartoons/movies/shows which have this theme--it's not uncommon.
Edit: In regards to your sidenote I'm just stating how LOTR and Neopets aren't alike. They're some things which I know were influenced by LOTR (as Donna said) but that plotline is used everywhere.
