Where do people get the "catfish" idea from? It has nothing in common with one but four short whiskers, which are associated with all sorts of fish, dragons and ESSPECIALLY sea monsters. It's just a scaly green sea monster skeith.

If they were going for catfish, why not save it for an already cat-like pet, like a kougra or...*I'm blanking here...what's another cat-like pet?* right, aisha (although that wouldn't work too well..?) instead of mangling the poor thing. I feel bad for the skeith. I mean like, at first I thought it was mutant...then I couldn't figure out what pet it was, until I looked at the URL o_____o

Whoah! How does that thing swim? It has four great big legs and two itty-bitty fins. O___O It's definetley unique though...not your average pet.
All I know is, if I'm ever swimming in the ocean and see that thing coming at me, I'm running, screaming and failing my arms as fast as I can.

Because while the Mynci happened to go well with the "sea monkey" pun, it is quite hard to turn a cat, into a catfish, whether its a catfish or not. A catfish is a type of fish, not a cat-fish. Yes. However, the skeith's body JUST might work for a fact ugly catfish, so it only seems appropriate, i say.

I must be one of the few who like this. I knew instantly it was a Maraquan Skeith, and personally, don't think they could have made it better. It's different too. I hope the battle poses give us a vicious Skeith.

I think the concept of the Skeith is good, but it needs some work. The wingfins should be larger and spinier, the chin should definately be worked on, and the artists need to fix the hands and feet. It should also have more of a catfish color. They could have chosen any number of catfish; the Porthole, brown with black dots down its sides and jaw whiskers that point up from the bottom and down from the top would be good, but I suspect a simple Peppered corydoras would have worked too. It's nice, but it needs more... umph.

well.... the battledome poses are up..... they still have the ugliness and bad design of the skeith... but i will admit, these were drawn pretty well! They make it look ferocious!
