Don't see the point of it now, if you can't even sell off the mutated petpets. Hmm, then again ...it could turn into a Quadrapus or something, and save you a lot of neopoints and get you the avatar.

but i'm dissappointed that you can't sell the petpets! now it's just for fun *hmph*. it's too bad though. an abominable snowball turned candychan would be pretty good!

Well that bites, I would have thought at least they made it so they were unsellable (like what they did with the starter PBs). That way people could have those special petpets in their collections.

Ugh, that's terrible about the lab map prices. Sure am glad I got mine years ago though.
I don't know if I even want the petpet ray. It doesn't seem like there's much to it. But, I wonder, if it turns your petpet into a Krawk, can you make your petpet a pet? I highly doubt it, but that'd be interesting.

In addition to the above though the new lab ray only petpet colours like jelly, gold, chocolate and strawberry are searchable with some of the petpets (like kookith). So I guess we'll be able to detach and sell those ones but not the others? In that way people without the lab can buy the new petpets you can't get any other way, yet it won't affect the prices of existing colours of petpets.

Hmm, you can't get PPL awards from the labbed petpets. I wonder if you can get petpet avs from them.

I really don't see much point in this. They change back as soon as you take them off the pet? Well, that's not worth the price of what the map is going to cost, not to mention if someone has to buy the regular map first. As was mentioned earlier, they should just make them unsellable.

I was hoping on labbing petpets and having a cool giveaway with the results, too.

I guess I can still lab petpets onto labbed adoption pets. That'd be nice to find when grabbing a pet from the pound. What a surprise if anyone grabbed it to sell the petpet, though. Well, it'd serve them right. lol

I think they are serious. I think it's their way of preventing people from exploiting the PPL by managing to get a petpet of the right species and color (which was questioned when they announced the petpet potions way back)

It's an unfair gain if it's an old petpet, like a Warf morphed into a Draconack. Warf's have a few years on the Draconack.

I think it'd be better if you could only lab unattached petpets. But whatever works, I suppose.

How disappointing if you can't detach labbed petpets and have them stay the same. That pretty much kills my interest in the petpet lab ray (unless its pretty cheap to find) as I was only interested in collecting painted pets. (Need painted Jinjahs for my gingerbread collection!)

I'm really glad that I finally bit the bullet and completed the secret lab ray map a few weeks ago now!
