- The Arcade Fire (just got their CD today, it's really great! Will be seeing them at the ACLF in a few months.)
- Andrew Bird (kind of obscure, but man, I love this guy to pieces)
- Steve Burns (Blue's Clues? Heck YES! No, honestly, he's got some nice tunes)
- Caedmon's Call (just one of those bands I've grown up with and adore)
- Coldplay (I've loved them since Parachutes came out..
Also will be seeing them at the ACLF.)
- Howie Day (some of his songs are just too darn sweet not to love)
- Doves (a friend of mine introduced me to them.. I'm addicted. Will be seeing them at the ACLF.)
- Eisley (I'm just very impressed by their talent and creativity.. ahh! Again, ACLF, yes!)
- Franz Ferdinand (I like to clean my room to Franz Ferdinand. It's fun. And another ACLF band!)
- The Goo Goo Dolls (what to say? John Rzeznik has basically the hottest voice ever.)
- Keane (they are my happy band! Very nice for back-to-school, I must say. Unfortunately, I'll be missing them at the ACLF, so I'm bummed.)
- Jennifer Knapp (some of her lyrics are just amazing and so perfect.)
- Muse (pretty much my favorite band. Ever. I adore them.)
- Nickel Creek (haha, so hey, it's bluegrass, but it's fun bluegrass!)
- Radiant (local band, but wow, theyr'e amazingly good.)
- Radiohead (not much to say of these guys that can be expressed. Ohmyword.
)
- Travis (Relaxing. I could fall asleep to them. In fact, I have.)
- U2 (Legendary. But great.)
- Weezer (they're the only band that's carried over from my preteen music tastes.. and with good reason, of course. El Scorcho =
)
- Pete Yorn (this guy is just.. so cool. I dunno. Perhaps it's just me. But I love him to bits.)
And there are artists that I haven't heard much from, but what I've heard I like - Death Cab for Cutie, Snow Patrol, Ambulance Ltd., Powderfinger, Sigur Ros, Interpol, Elefant, The Verve, and The Secret Machines.
