ick, pop-punk...sad to admit but so true =/

Punk is velvet revolver etc.

velvet revolver is the mix of GNR (not punk) and that other band (slips my mind) (also not punk)

You probably havn't the faintest idea of what punk is, but that's ok.

If I was one of the Ramones, I'd poke you in the eye with something very pointy.

If I was a member of the Sex Pistols, I'd laugh in your face and kick you in the shins.

If I played with MC5, I'd wait outside outside your bedroom, wait until you fall asleep, sneak in, and put your hand in a bowl of warm water.

If I ever appeared on a Blondie album, I'd throw something very heavy at your head.

If I was ever a part of the Clash, I'd throw your sister off a roof.

But if I was Iggy Pop, I'd be the coolest human being alive and far too cool to even acknowledge that you or anyone even partaking in that debate is even alive so I wouldn't do a blooming thing.

I like you.

Green Day are okay, I suppose. Their new single 'Wake Me Up When September Ends' is coming out soon with a 7-minute long video.

Velvet revolver are not punk.

...I thought they were? huh...yeah, I guess not, but some of their songs sound a little like punk rock.

Punk was originally rebellious music on political issues. Velvet Revolver is more on the lines of Alternative / Hard Rock.

Your right they are turning punk but they are better in alternative rock,i also like Guen Stafini."Lemme hear you say **** is Bananas B-A-N-A-N-A-S cuz **** is bananas B-A-N-A-N-A-S!" LOL!

Actually, I'd have to agree with him. She is pretty good looking (and I'm a straight female, nonetheless) but beauty doesn't always justify her actions. No Doubt became her better, but when that band started fading away, she decided to become a solo artist and not go out with dignity. It seems like she's trying desperately to hang on to her music career. I admire her ability to adapt, but she still annoys me. Balmy wh - Heh.

But it feels like we're sidetracking here (Just a bit), so here's another input for Greenday.

I don't like how a lot of their new songs mention war. It doesn't seem genuine. Just because this is a time of war doesn't mean you have to cling to the subject. Bleh.

I love Greenday. Some of their new songs are awsome.

Yeah but considering the quality of music you create no wonder you think Green Day are awesome =;0)

Yeah I totally agree. Bruce Springsteen should totally have waited for the Working Class American people to start making millions before he wrote Born in the USA. And Joan Baez and Bob Dylan. They were always yapping about war and oppression and the most untimely moments. We totally could have waited for a moment of world peace before Blowing in the Wind came out. Ooooh, and CCR releasing Fortunate Son. Would it have killed John Fogerty to wait until after Vietname was done. Honestly! And Give Peace a Chance! Gosh darn it! John Lennon just came off all preachy. It would have come off so much better if he had waited until after we had already given peace a chance. How dare he write about current events while they're still, y'know, current.
