Some people said this scared them. If the topic is gone by the time you read this, it was a Texan girl who said that a window had broken downstairs... She hid in a closet with her laptop and talked to us. Saying she saw two men in her parents' bedroom, and her parents were in Galveston. She claims her dog was killed by them, bleeding from the head, just a puppy (typical attention ploy used by most seekers, but somehow it just seems believable.). She's "out of the house" and is no longer available for comment.

Of course, this would be much easier to believe if it weren't for the fact that her name says " The Biggest Drama Queen You Will Ever Meet."
I'm an insomniac, so I came on now... I just thought that this odd little tidbit would be interesting.

I've seen that sort of thing before, but on GameFAQ's LUE board. It's strange that they don't just rush the intrder with their laptop\weapon. Actually, I'm most likely the only one who would do that.

To be serious, I'm 18 and still with my parents, but I'm home alone ALOT. I always have a weapon nearby though. Two katanas that my uncle gave me. They may have dull edges, but they still hurt. Even with them, though, I'd still be a little scared if someone broke in.

Bah. I'm tired. I need sleep. I haven't had a good night sleep for the past few days.

Oh, it used to happen all the time last summer. I never posted on them, though, because then the people that did believe her would all jump on me.

I keep two daggers, and a short sword in my home. If anyone tries to screw around, well. It was self defence. People in my city are really relaxed about that kinda thing, as long as you don't kill the person.

there was something like that last year. About a girl who's dad was trying to break into her room and was going to beat her and what should she do? Should she go through her window. Call someone? Yet she never did anything that was suggested to her, she was "too scared". She was on for a good half hour (maybe more depending on how long she was on before I got on)... I never post in those things but it's interesting to see what people do to try to "help" these people. HELLO>.. there isn't much we can do, it's up to the person themselve!

Eh, I've seen other versions of that, some of which I've also seen on the GameFaqs board LUE (that place can be considered worse than the Neoboards, believe it or not). If someone broke into my house I'd be calling for help on a phone and getting all possible weapons into my grasp.

heh, i won't be so fast to judge because i have no way to verify but one thing is certain: if someone can actually post abt his misfortunes in neopets, he must be alright already.

LUE isnt just worse...its like...letting loose a band of rabid chickens in your house...DEADLY CYBER CHICKENS!

Very unbelieveble. Why not try to use the internet to inform the police, or if not, to e-mail a family member or friend of what's happening, telling them to call the police? Talking to people on neopets won't help her.

thank gods for small favors eh? anyway people have to stop responding to stuff like this. people fein sucidal thoughts just to get attention, they say they have cancer, they say their dad beats them or worse. they think its funny that people take them serious and some people actuly try to help them.
now a days someone says they are gonna kill themselves, i tell them to have a nice trip. i'm not havin' it anymore.

i dont keep katanas under my pillow though... my weapon of defence is much cooler Nunchucks. Although i am more of a bow and arrow guy, It's kind of hard to defend yourself in your home with one. Nunchucks all the way now.... i can use two at once, ive been practicing for 8 years, and i could probably knock a guy unconscious with one hit! Another little-known fact about TWW... the weezel-bow isnt his only defensive move
