Rae tensed, she may not be a demon- but the Great City had branded her as one. Meiou's daring almost made her laugh, but she was shocked silent. She waited, stiff as ever- for what was next. "What business do you have in the Great City, Kiria?" she asked quietly, and rather quickly- curious.

Phleyixa noticed the commontion going on inside the city.

"That demon that snuck in earlier is in danger," she thought. She didn't worry about the bellicose one that recently appeared...he seemed to be able to take care of himself.

Summoning up her strength, Phleyixa sped up her time frame and dashed in the city, right before the gates closed. She frantically searched the crowd, confusing them since all they saw was a blue-ish blur. After locating the demon, she rougly grabbed her and her friend by the arms and led them behind a wall. Phleyixa slowed down (though she doubted that they were completely safe), and was pleased to see that they were in a small garden of sorts. She began hastily gathering berries.

"Uh...T-thank you!" Kiria told Phleyixa.
She turned to Rae ounce again. "Some humans say they've seen demons prowling around the city at night. The head of the council is suspicous, says he feels somethings wrong. So he's sent me, and some others, to see if somethings up." Kiria looked up at the sky. Night fall was only about an hour away.

Queenie skipped along the road away from the Orphanage, she noticed three girls suddenly appear in a garden, two of them were demons. She stopped a few metres away and held her arms behind her back, tilting her head to the side she looked at the three curiously. "Whatchya doing in that garden misses? It's a very odd place to stand, especially for two demons like yourselves."

Walking closer, Queenie began circling the three, her right eye assessing them quickly. She then held out her hands to them, "Come with me if you wanna go somewhere safe."

Rae looked at Kiria, if there was any time this was it-- "I-I can help...since I am not a demon, but I am pratically one of you..." she trailed off, obviously meaning about being raised along side demons, being friends even with them. She looked up at Queenie, softly shocked for a moment before processing what she said,

Phleyixa turned her attention towards Queenie, and began sniffing. She had no idea why he did this, her sense of smell was awful, but it seemed to comfort her in situations involving unknown people. She glanced at the other two demons to see if they knew the newcomer.

Kiria's eyes narrowed as she looked at Queenie. "Wh-"
There was a loud clang, clang, and someone shouted "Demons! Demons in the city! All vilagers stay in your homes and lock your doors! All demons and suspicous humans are to be brought to the palace!"
"Ugh, the alarm bell. You can never have a moments peace in this city, can you?" Kiria said, more to herself than too the others.
"I'll go with you." She said to Queenie. "You're going to help, right, Rae? You come, too."
There were shouts coming from near the gates:
"We've found a demon! Come quick!"
"We can't! There are Lily Strikers here!" Shouted guards from another part of the city.
"Sounds like they're having fun..." Whispered Kiria.
((Lily Strikers are demons that look like large white birds with long, silver beaks, and very long talons. They look alot like egrets. They are called Lily Strikers because they are white, like the lily plant, and can usually be found by pools where the lily plants grow. They are very dangerous, and will attack any creature that comes near their pools. When hunting, they attack from behind, and slash their talons at the backs of their prey. They're rather rare, but we'll probobly be seeing alot of them in this RP...))

Rae grinned, listening to the confusion. "Of course I'll help," she said pleasantly. Her stomach ran cold and dropped a few notches, she was going to help the demons. Her face though, was calm and still, and smiling. She was going to help the demons.

Queenie stood passively, watching the others make up their minds and listening nonchalantely to the sounds of the guards a few streets away. She grabbed Kiria's and Rae's hands, assuming they'd grab Phleyixa's too, and began running through the streets away from the main gates. She passed by the orphanage and through the main marketplace. As they ran they saw many villagers, some recognised the young orphan and most assumed that she was leading the three other girls to safety.

They ran for at least ten minutes, dodging through sidestreets and alleyways until they came to a dead end. Queenie grinned and then ran headfirst towards the wall, upon reaching it her whole body passed straight through, revealing that the wall was a simple magical illusion.

Queenie let go of the girls' hands and immediately jumped onto a lone swing. She had lead them to a small park surrounded on all sides by high walls. However the walls all appeared semi-translucent from this side, revealing that there were four different exits. Queenie giggled, swinging gently on the polished silver swing, "Have any of you ever heard of the Ice Queen?"

((Muahaha! The plot and mystery thickens! ))

Phleyixa didn't grab any hands, but followed nonetheless. Open arriving at the hidden alcove, she heard Queenie's question.

"No, are you her?" asked Phleyixa.

((Oh, to make it easier, you can just say "Phley" next time you mention my character.))

Rae looked around the strange setting, awed. She was silent, simply looking. Rae jumped when she saw the new faces...things were simply getting stranger. She thought since she was going to help the demons, everything was going to be strange.
