Paradox groaned and clutched Rae's arm, pulling himself up. "Yeah, I'm fine," he muttered. "A bit bruised, but fine." He straightened his hat carefully. "I was just reminded why I don't really like sleeping in trees."

Fri Jun 10, 2005 9:21 pm

Rae laughed, and looked him up and down, making sure he was alright. "Well, today is the big day!" she said excitedly, shining through and through. She fingered one of her golden locks, "Aren't you excited?" She exclaimed. She sure was!

Fri Jun 10, 2005 9:26 pm

Paradox blinked. "Big day? What?" He rubbed his eyes and yawned. "It's too early for me." He sat down and leant against a tree trunk, stretching. He tipped his hat over his eyes, and said, "G'night all."

[Yay for lazy characters. :)]

Eithne scowled at Paradox, deftly grabbing his hat with one hand and tossing it away.

"It's summer, lazy! Real summer! Don't tell me you forgot!"

Fri Jun 10, 2005 9:39 pm

"My hat!" Paradox shouted, and jumped up, chasing after it, pouncing on it, and bringing it to his chest as if it were very special to him. "Don't ever," he said breathlessly, eyeing Eithne, "ever again..."

He didn't seem to be able to finish the sentence, so he clutched his hat to him once more, and then replaced it back on his head. He stood up.

He cocked his head at Eithne. "Summer? Real summer? I forgot something again?" Paradox put his hand on his hat and moaned. "I'm so forgetful, dammit!"

Fri Jun 10, 2005 10:48 pm

Eithne, suddenly mischievious, took the opportunity to sieze his hat again, though she had to jump to grab it from the head of the older boy. This time, though, instead of tossing it, she began to smack him with it, though she did not hit nearly hard enough to cause him any harm (not that a hat was much of a weapon).

"It's..only the...purpose...for..your..whole..life!" she cried indignantly, each word punctuated by a blow from the hat.

Rae smiled at them, in an almost superior way. Today is the day, she thought happily. She looked around, looking for the others but stayed near Eithne and Paradox. The grass tickled her bare feet, and she smiled up at the sunny sky, it was going to be a great day.

[[Look, I know this is a stupid question, but how big are elves?]]

Swiftly and quietly Enya glided, enjoying the summer breeze. She closed her eyes and her hair flew. Slowing down a little, she found the other elves; but being a shy creature, she did not go very near. Instead, she stopped on a tree branch with some birds and sat there, sharing the shade. Sitting there happily, Enya began to hum a "summer tune".

Coming towards eithne was Lierel her nose in a book per usual. Upon hearing the noise from all the talk and the hat beating she looked up curious to know what was going on. "Whats all this chatter about? Cant a girl read peacefully on a stroll anymore?"

Sat Jun 11, 2005 8:59 am

"Ouch!" Paradox yelled. "That's... not... fair... it's... not... my... fault... I... can't... remember... things... easily! Now could you please quit it?!" Paradox snatched his hat from Eithne, and put it on his head. "What have you got against my hat anyways?"

Sat Jun 11, 2005 3:20 pm

"Sorry Lierel." she said softly with a smile, understanding the need for quiet when reading. Softer still she spoke to Paradox, "Today we leave the Valley of the Moon and travel to the Miaryn High Palace to fulfill their destiny." she said dramatically, smiling. She looked over to Enya, how she loved them all.

Sat Jun 11, 2005 9:15 pm

Eithne allowed Paradox to keep his hat this time, grinning. "I have nothing against your hat. It's just easy to get to you through it." She gave a mischievious grin, then turned to Lierel.

"How can you just read?!" This was something, since Eithne was enough of a bookworm to rival even Lierel. "Don't tell me you forgot too?"

Sat Jun 11, 2005 10:42 pm

She glared at her. "If i so much even think your planning on touching my book your toast. How could i forget when its all youve been talking about lately? You wont let us forget!"

Sat Jun 11, 2005 11:16 pm

Eithne glared right back. "I'm not going to touch your book, so you can quit worrying about that. And why would you want to forget? Silly thing to complain about if you ask me."

Rae stepped forward, slightly annoyed, but still calm, "Today is an important day- let us not begin it with fighting," she spoke firmly. Rae took a deep wither her excitement.
