Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

I realize now, even though there's stories and newspaper articles about some of these things, sometimes you never know if it's someone you know...... It could be anyone...
it makes me think about the people I know IRL. Some of my friends, I know their struggles. Other ones I just see that something's wrong.....
On a lighter note...... I'm going to band camp next month.

I'm so glad that everyone trusts the people here enough to do this. I mean, it may be anonymous but things here are still hard to admit. I hope some good friendships and strong support systems come out of this...I really do.

This is such a moving thread. I am very glad that you've created this, Fidds.

Fidds, I only just managed to get around to reading this after you told me about it in chat, but I'm glad I did.
There's so many anonymous (sp?!) secrets here that I can relate to..

I really want to show this one girl I know this thread on PPT. Lately we've been talking about how we have the same problems and it helps to get it out.
Honestly, this is like therapy but better. I always lied to my therapist just so I wouldn't have to be put on medication or taken to MORE therapists. But this is nice, because no one can judge you, because no one knows.

Super hug!

I lie and say I don't, but I cry during most movies.

All the people at the Movies board are going to think I'm such a weenie...
You guys should have seen me at the end of the movie "A.I (Artificial Intelligence)", I tell you I was shaking and crying at the same time! (Good thing my mom had gone to bed by then... ahem

). I guess it made the situation even more emotional as that was just a few weeks before until I went to Belgium, leaving my mom for a very long period of time.

I hugged my mom after that movie. AI made me pretty depressed in that quiet sort of way.

Huge update. I was so surprised to see how many e-mails I had waiting for me. Soon this will be too big to fit in one thread! I'm very glad so many people now have an outlet for their secrets and worries.
Tue Jun 07, 2005 2:59 pm
This is a very good idea of yours, Fidds. I'm sure all the people who've written would like to thank you for having some kind of outlet. I wish I could give everyone who wrote (and everyone who didn't write) a hug.

I wish I could give more, actually.

I'm the same with the getting over-emotional with things on TV or in movies. If something embarrassing happens to a character, I can't stand to watch; if they finally, like, kiss someone after a really slow romantic build-up, I usually have to either just close my eyes and plug my ears, or run out of the room. It's quite annoying, as this usually happens during movies I really like. And, of course, most people act as if I'm insane when I'm doing it, but whatever.

I cried at the end of Alien 3 because she killed the baby alien.
I cannot for the life of me watch a kissing scene either. even my daughter knows why I hold up a hand to block the tv during those times.

Wow.. this is like... Secrets for the PPTers soul.. without the stories. (I know, thats not the way the titles go

)
Very very touching.

I smirk at the romantic parts and find faults in the relationships. Rather than be embaressed, I aim at the writers and open fire. There are a few movies in which I secretly enjoy the build-up, but look down during the kissing.
