Hi, I'm new here. Posting here as Neocolours is down. I've been saving for a ghost paint brush for ages and, having just got into the final stretch, started looking at TP prices.....only to find prices of 1mil+. Other people on the trades neoboard are saying 600k.

Is this inflation caused by something in particular, like an avatar rumour? I heard from someone that there are people buying every ghost PB available so they can bump up the price, but I haven't had it confirmed. Is it likely to be a permanent thing?

The other thing is, I was planning on buying a lab map after the paint brush. Would I be better buying the map now and start saving for a ghost PB while zapping pets? I'm not sure I want to zap the pet i want to paint as I can't really afford to keep morphing him back into a kougra if his species changes.

I figure you would be better off with the lab, as it's at least "stable" ...
Didn't hear about any rumours, so can't add anything to that.

I would wait for a while and see what happens ...as to not overpay if they actually are being hoarded.

Yeah, I've never managed to save this much before, so I figure, I'll wait. I'm not good at that, of course, but hey. I nearly got a ghost PB in an auction earlier too. It went for 450k but the increment was 90k >_< oh well, guess I'll hold out. It is a dream pet after all, that's got to be worth waiting for.

Wait until after the war. People paid out for Ghost Paintbrushes (which are in more limited supply) because they wanted to battle with a cool pet (cooler than Pteris) and be able to heal cheaper. Ghosts pets are healed by ghost marshmellows.

I got my Ghost pet from the lab I'm not a big fan of Ghost pets though.

Well, magic ghost marshmallows, anyway. In any event, prices seem to have come back down to around 600k-700k, which I do believe is about where they were before.
