The guy reaches down to pick up the cat, then his girlfriend comes in to see the guy awkwardly holding up the seemingly blood-soaked cat by the scruff of the neck with a knife in his other hand. The cat gives a pitiful little mew at the end, just to top everything off.

The cat in it looks almost exactly like my "Unholy Cherub" of a cat, Pounce, which just makes it seem all the funnier because it's exactly like something he'd do.
ROFL... I forgot about that commercial. They don't play it enough! God that is one funny commercial though. Just that last pitiful meow the cat lets out tops it all off. Too too funny

Of course it's good, it was a Superbowl commercial
You can watch it here:

It's a bit down on the left, where it says "Ameriquest: Cat Killer"

Maxwell house coffee commercial.
I've never seen the commercial, but I can here it from up here, and I always sing the song.

I love the one About the weed killer where He puts it down then falls in love with his neighbor and they get married and go on Honeymoon. While they're there He get's Amnesia and falls in love with a nurse at the hopsital. When he gets home his other wife is waiting at the door with the police. The police arrest him. Then the guy who's voice overing and telling the story says '... and while all of this happens his lawn stays weed free!'
xDDD I love it!

I've never seen it, but Maxwell House is the skankiest instant coffee in existance, which says a lot, really.
It smells like Gravy.

I really like the Sure For Men advert (it's anti perispant - excuse my spelling) with all the craaazy smurf stunts.
Ooh, remember that old BBC advert with the bloke who leapt across all these roofs to get to his telly?
I also like the BBC advert with the rugby players doing thier little dance/song thing. However, the ones with the trapeze artists coming down on cloth (or, "the twirly people" as mum calls it) and the "ooh look we're doing salsa in the rain" annoy me.

There's one for Netflix (or possibly some other online-DVD-rental thing) this woman is sitting on a couch telling the camera about how it's so convenient to just have the DVDs delivered to her door because she's got such a busy life ad a mom, etc.
In the background, the dad is chasing the kids around and the kids are acting nuts, and you can hear stuff breaking, etc.
And then the phone starts ringing, and the dad says "Honey, can you get that?" and she turns around and screams "MOMMY IS TRYING TO DO A TV COMMERCIAL!" and then turns back to the camera, all calm and collected and smiles.
Also there's a Gatorade commercial talking about all different kind of sports played around the world. It'll say stuff like "A bat is a bat, whether it's round **shows a baseball bat** or flat **shows a cricket bat." and "And football is football **shows American football being played** unless it's football **shows football (soccer) being played**."

Currently the Maltesers one is pretty good, with everyone commuting on giant malteser space hoppers -
that would be fun

The Citroen one was pretty good, but the parody (done by transformers fans no less) was better.
still, best advert going around, even if thats only because its not that stupid frog or the "its only a commercial" ones.

I can't believe I forgot to mention the American Express commercial with Kate Winslet!
"At 17 I went to prison for murder. By 19 I was penniless and heartbroken. At 20 I nearly drowned. At 28 I erased my memory. And by 30 I was in neverland. I don't need anymore drama in my real life, that's why I use American Express."
First person to correctly name all five movies that are referenced gets a cookie.

No idea what those other movies are. Maybe the 19 one is Sense and Sensibility?
*shrugs* Can I get half a cookie? heh

**gives you 75% of a cookie**
You're right on all accounts, and the 17 one is Heavenly Creatures.

"VONAGE: 'People do stupid things...'"
*rocket fires upwards*
*guy looks up then frowns*
"Uhhm...I lost it..."

That ad just cracks me up so much! High-Octane-powered homemade rocket and an idiot at its controls with his wife and best bud filming XD
Best. Mobile. Network. Ad. EVER!

No, because she guessed Sense and Sensibility, and she was right.
