The chance thing may at least equalize the chance to get rich in Neopia, but that may not seem to work fair.

I am not a fan of restocking even if at the moment my connection is fast (cable), I find it boring. So I chose to create a meager amount of nps in games and quests. But occasionally, I do restock.

Anyway, does being lazy in restocking included as a restocking blues? LOL.

I think there should be a limited amount of items you can buy from shops a day. Say maybe you can only buy 15 items from all the shops total every 12hours. I think that would loosen everything, and give everyone a chance. The usual restockers would probably be ticked about it, but hey. Everyone else needs to try to make a living. Games are simply not enough.

I like that idea!

I'd hate that idea. lol How would I be expected to make money? :o

I don't like it either! You only say that bacause you are not a restocker. I think there should be a few shops like that but the rest should stay the same, that will give a chance to other players and restockers wouldn't suffer.

Restocking is rather boring, I like to play the games more, even if I don't make as much np, I am having fun!

I usually restock at the book shop, and everything goes so fast, I have learned to type really fast because of this, but I can't hardly see the code! Its so annoying I want to grab my computer and throw it! :x

I hate that too, dun give the idea to TNT. I consider myself good at restock, but I dun get rare items that make 10k profit. I restock items that make 100np to 500np, I am happy enough.

One problem is, while I'm working I refresh and then get side tracked when someone is talking. Then I miss the item I've missed so many good ones that way!

I think neopets should have a work button you can click which dissplays some sort of chart or a spread sheet. Just to make it look like I'm researching something

You could always minimise your IE to your required size, open a document file full screen behind your IE, hide your taskbar. Whenever your boss is nearby, just click anywhere outside your IE and you will have your documents files in front of your computer.

restock blues! that's something i can identify with for more than 2 years! it's something i have to cope with if i want to restock. generally, my fortunes in restocking has been good but whenever i miss something, i cuss a lot inside me.

ever since they come up with the kauvara code, restocking has been more challenging but certain problems still stick out like bright red irritating pimples. for example, the lauvara been the last to load, been brought back to haggle again after you punch in the code..etc etc. moreover, now that everything restock at once, it means once you miss the first item, you are more likely to return empty handed for that restock through chain misses.

Using 56k to restock is just plain hard (doing it right now). It isn't impossible if you know what you're doing, but it is annoying when you miss good items (which occurs a lot). I can usually make 500np-5000 np per item on restocks with just one shop if I'm lucky. Then again, I restock in the early early morning. The people who rs when they skip school probably make the most np, lol. I need to find other shops to rs in if I can get a chance at making 10k per item.

I'm in the same boat as you guys, my 56k really pulls me down when it comes to restocking. Virtually EVERYTHING worth buying is sold out before I can get it, leaving only worthless scraps. It's not fair :(

I like the ideas proposed above, they would make the game fairer for all. But maybe the simplest solution is to sell heaps more in the shops, like 100 of each item instead of 5, so everyone gets something.
