You just need to pick a shop and really find out what items are what and how much they re-sell for. It takes a while but it's worth it in the long run.

About refreshing. You shouldn't too much. You don't need to refresh like mad really...

Refresh the page until it restocks (at the same timne chat on PPt)
Haggle!
Buy!
Check the wiz!
See if you find something great or if you bought something that didn't worth.
Smile! :D

Also, always keep a window open on the main neopets page, and a window open on the toy or magic shops (#3 and #2, respectively).

Restocks always begin at the zero-second mark - and there's a clock, with seconds, on the Neopets homepage. A refresh in either toys or magic, which are the first shops to restock, tells you when a restock has begun. You can then quickly click over to the shop you actually want to shop in (if it's not toys or magic), hit f5, and make yourself richer.

Then you should find it pretty easy. Don't just think you only make money on items over 10k. If you buy a few of certain items and stock up for a while. When you finally come to put them in your shop later all the np's mounts up.

I remember making 5k on eels (I think eels. I was very bored and nobody was buying them :D)

And don't refresh too fast for too long or you'll get restock banned and won't be able to see any items in any shops. It sucks, I just got banned today and I'm already bored and want to see something restocking!

Thank you so much shapu, I never would have never noticed that restocks begin at zero mark!

I think i have to learn to type before i can get any good stuff by restocking. I can see the good things, get to the code bit and never get the right keys fast enough

Thanks for the tip about the time. Will be watching that from now on :)

I keep forgetting that not everyone remembers that - it's a well-kept secret, apparently.

I usually refresh at one second after the minute, btw, just to make sure I'm not early.

I... could kiss you! By using that, I made 600k in about 2 hours today. It usually takes me weeks to make that much! I still don't really believe it myself. :o
