It's just all high-pitched, straining, and whiny. The original version of "My Immortal" is very out of tune in some parts.
Other voices I hate:
The Maroon 5 guy, Christina Aguilera, Sean Paul, Vanessa Carleton, Michelle Branch, Clay Aiken, Jesse McCartney, Jessica and Ashley Simpson, Macy Gray, and a whole load of other people I'd rather not think about.

Though, there are some artists whose voices are horrible, but I love them anyway. Bob Dyan, The Ramones, The Animals, The Rolling Stones, etc... Their voices weren't the best, but their music sure was.
It's just all high-pitched, straining, and whiny. The original version of "My Immortal" is very out of tune in some parts.

And I agree: Pierre Bouvier doesn't have the best voice but their music is still good.

I watched him perform live on America's Top 40. He sounded very horrible.
